I dropped my remote into a cup of coffee on Friday, let all the coffee drip out of the inside, took out the batteries and let it dry out over the weekend, and the remote still works. We live in an amazing world.

It is not easy to drop a remote into a coffee cup.

Everything happens for a reason.

Anything is possible when you're all hopped up on caffeine.

What was your reason for doing something so ridiculous?

Just received a care package from loved ones with a bunch of goodies from Katz Deli in NYC. Pastrami, Corned Beef, Matza Ball soup, Babka, Knish pickles and mustard. Yum.

Bought a new Tundra a couple weeks ago. Thing is damn-near loaded with so much technology. It replaced a 14-year Tacoma that didn't even have Bluetooth. Yeah, it's badass.

Thanks. Didn't really want to buy the first year on a redesign but I was worried that something major was going to go out on my Tacoma.
First time I towed my boat with the Tundra I realized how underpowered and overmatched my Tacoma was. I know it is cliche but it towed like the boat wasn't even there.

We have a 2019 Tacoma Limited. It replaced a 2015 F150 that was showing signs of being problematic. I loved the way the F150 drove, but it was going to be a money pit. The Tacoma drives like a fucking 90 year-old Grandmother. I wish I bought the Tundra.

Funny thing is.....I could sell my Tacoma right now for the price I paid for it. Crazy. My wife seems to think that it would go for even more. I told her if that's the case, let's sell it and I'll buy 2 cars

I hate driving Toyotas. You push on the gas and it's like the car is saying I'm thinking about it and maybe I'll get up to speed in 5 minutes or so. Sucks being behind them for that reason too.

We used to have a 2006 Highlander and that wasn't the case. Our Tacoma....that's a really good description.

I think of you are a towing person you know. If you just buy a pick up for your groceries you can do the smaller models.

My BIL swears by his F150 v6 turbo whatever though. He tows a tri-toon all the time.

I had the smallest ecoboost F150 available and it was super quick. Towed a 21' boat with no problem. I absolutely loved HOW it drove....but it went through brakes in 30K increments and I had some check engine light sensor where they wanted $900 to fix. I was only at 70K miles.

My wife (at the time) was driving it more than I was and just has F150 legacy hate from her ex-husband. I'm not the car person in the house. My towing days are done. I just want a pickup truck cause I like them and it's my preferred vehicle to haul band equipment. Made more sense for her to be happy with it so got the Tacoma. Hindsight is I should have gone Tundra. I have to think they perform quicker than the Tacoma but not sure. All I do know is I'm never going 5.5' bed again. I'm gonna be firm on 6.5' bed. That's really my only criteria. I can live with it accelerating like a Grandma. My other complain on the Tacoma is it's 17 gallon gas tank. Way too small. I think that's now increased to 21 gallons across board.

If you ever watch the Blue Tacoma music video, the singer is a tad odd. Now I do not watch music videos, bit it popped up on Apple Music when I searched for the song.

Damn. That’s impressive.

I saw dirt but I would have assumed gravel. Having played basketball on gravel courts, that takes tremendous reflexes and eye/hand coordination.

That’s great. Happy for young Ms. RFDC.

My best friend drives a ecoboost and he gets about 18-19 mph. I have the 5.0 coyote and i get 15 like right on the dot. i work from home so thats become less of a big deal but his ecoboost hauled a bigger boat quite well and effortlessly. i will say it did way better than my 4.6L V8 chevy.

my truck doesn't really notice much of anything behind you. I hauled a 25' camper a short distance one time and noticed it but that was it.

I kind of miss the old 1/2 ton I had but they just don't hold up to what we need them to do. The emissions on the diesel have been a pain of late. Who would of thought that the exhaust pipe would be on indefinite back order.

I'm friends with a woman in marketing and occasionally she will ask me to test products out for her that we are looking to do for promotions. This one should be pretty interesting as i haven't had an RC car in over 30 years. Certainly never seen one like this.

Called a time-out in a 7th Grade B Game (boys basketball) to draw up the inbounds play with five seconds left. Sixth grader on the team hit the buzzer beater to win after executing the play. A team has bought in to running the Villanova 1-2-2 press which is showing results as well early in the season (3-0 in conference). I'm enjoying the change from officiating to coaching tremendously.

24 minutes...I'd lose my voice if I was doing 40 minute games. We were up 10-0 a few minutes in and 16-0 at half of A game yesterday. Pulled off the press at 10-0 and EVERYONE played in the A game.

Yeah, it does. Oh it was 16-0 at the quarter and 22-2 at half.

Thats cool man, coaching is a lot of fun most times!

Our high school girls team started practice this week. We have a freshman girl who has never played basketball before who decided to come out. She is completely clueless and has an attitude. At the end of the first practice the varsity scrimmaged for a few mins. She got irritated about not being subbed in. She said to me "all I do is stand here?!?!?!" I don't think she is going to make it very long

One of my starters (sixth grader) parents have a nice video camera...like hudl level video. So I watched during plan this morning and we will watch as a team to look at spacing and positioning. The camera doesn't lie which will let us look at what I'd like to see. I have a few players who have been playing mostly B games and asking to get in the A game. Now, they're also the ones the last few practices who were talking or starting to bounce basketballs while I was setting up a simple down screen play...a play I wanted them to use in the B game yesterday and they couldn't run it. Guys, why aren't you going to your spot? "Uh, I don't know the play coach..." Why is that? "Uh, I guess I need to pay attention in practice coach..." I guess you do. They did adjust and were able to come back and win and they're learning from the mistakes...hopefully they're more attentive in future.
