Seems to want out of Carolina. Bona fide #1 WR, signed through the 2025 season, what package of players/picks would you give up to get him on the Bears? Often Moore is less(see Bumper Humper's posts) but not in this case.

He could be what Diggs did for Josh Allen.

DJ Moore is no Stefon Diggs.

You might wanna compare Moore's first three season's in the NFL to Diggs'

The Steelers don't have enough balls to go around for Claypool, and Johnson already got paid.

Why would Tomlin trade him?

They're rebuilding, even if they don't want to admit it. They love Pickens, and they've already paid Johnson. Trading him makes sense.

That does make sense.

How much do you pay? How high of Pick?

I would give up a 2nd or Roquan. I would also give him close to what Dionte Johnson got. I think he can be a legitimate #1.

Read a trade deadline article where the guy had Roquan going for a second and Quinn for a fourth, and then the Bears trading back and getting two first round picks, I make all those trades if I'm Poles, doubt you get that much for Roquan or especially for Quinn.

The problem with that is Roquan would be a better player than you would get with either pick.

Roquan can definitely get you a 2nd.

Even if you are right, you still wouldn't have to pay a player that isn't elite over $100M.

Problem is they will need that 2nd rounder to package up with a couple first rounders to draft a QB.

I have faith Fields will get them a top 3 pick.

Yes, that’s quite possible…if they lose the rest of their games this year.

Draft yourself any SEC LB with a second round pick and you get a bigger guy that is just as fast as Roquan, and who comes cheaper, without the baggage.

Go back and watch the Saints DE's actually set the edge without being bitchslapped and turned sideways like the Bears undersized and fundamentally unsound guys do each week, it completely shut down the outside run and bootleg game which has killed the Bears for the past several years. It was of course Cameron Jordan who is a way better overall DE/OLB, even at this stage of his career than anything the Bears have had since Dan Hampton, guys like Quinn and Mack just hunt sacks, opening up gaping run lanes.

See where the trade market is opening up and maybe they can flip a few overpriced and underperforming Ryan Pace guys for late round picks.

I'm open to any trades.

I liked Elijah Moore in the draft and I still like him. I'd give a 4th for him. He has #1 potential. Jets just happen to quietly be loaded at the position. and if they want to throw in Denzel Mims while they are at it, I'm buying that up as well for an extra 6th

DJ Moore is too talented for Poles' tastes.

Claypool is Dort of up and down. I don’t know I would pay him tons of money after a trade.

The Packers are pursuing Claypool too. Even with Karen retiring in 18 months, I don't think the Bears can let them win.

Does David Montgomery have any trade value?

McCaffrey brought a good haul, do see the NFL needing to go back more to the run due to the defenses adjusting and going with smaller quicker players, teams are also dropping safeties and forcing QB's to take short passes and slowly move down the field.

The Bears are a prime example of this philosophy and the front 7 is getting bitch slapped around.

Still do not see Montgomery brining back much more than a late round pick, but he is likely not here when the team is relevant, so why not pick up as many draft picks as possible.

Why would you trade Smith for a second round pick? He is leading the league in tackles and when I look at his play, he is making plays all over the field? I doubt they find a better player in the second round than he is. Quinn is different. He's at the end of a great career and if they can get a 3rd or 4th for him, I'd do it.

A second round player is going to be better than the empty roster spot when he leaves in free agency. I doubt anyone wants to add an ILB at this point in the season. That is not the easiest position to just plug and play. Quinn can get traded and play 2 days later. He will for sure go somewhere but for a day 3 pick.
