Let things develop organically between Fields & Claypool even if the stats don’t look all that impressive.

I don't foresee that. They now have a guy that (hopefully) will not have the ball bounce off his hands when put there by Fields. These plays have already been a part of the offense, the current set of receivers have not made the plays (one handed catch by Mooney non-withstanding).

Claypool is a good blocker. That'll help the Bears running game. I would be shocked if he played less than half the snaps.

"He had a crazy catch out there today," Mooney told NBC Sports Chicago. "It was like a deep ball and he just like went up and big-boyed someone. He Mossed them. Exactly. The things he has been doing. It was nice to see it in person."

Put Claypool, Harry and Mooney in a bunch formation, screen to Mooney and watch those two road grade DB

At the very least you get the other teams best DB covering Claypool, and if you do hit on a go route or two, you get safety coverage shading toward him, which opens up Mooney and maybe the running game a bit more.

Good for him. He believed that was what he was worth and he got them to believe that.

I am still glad the Bears did not give him that deal.

Yep.

Lamar Jackson has to be pissed. I'm not sure he's going to get a deal.

Just looking at the Ravens numbers after they acquired him and they took a big jump up once he was there. He definitely made a difference.

Running qb who is starting to get hurt and be less productive. I wouldnt sign him for the money he's going to want but then again, I wouldnt have given that contract to Roquan either. Ravens want to be stupid with their money, let them. Im a Steeler fan anyway lol.

Check their schedule, they started playing bums and the Steelers(terrible offense) twice.

He's better than Kyler Murray and Watson, IMO. If they can get a deal, he should be able to get one too.

If I recall there was some talk a while back that there were things in his rookie contract that shouldnt have been in there and wouldn’t have if he had an agent. Hopefully the Ravens didn’t slip some stuff in there to screw him over.

The Jerry Angelo Bears may end up positioning the Bears for at least a decade of success.

taking on Buckner would be huge for us and actually a win for the Colts as well. Great player but taking up a ton of cash on a team transitioning out of defense.

I think he's a must if we trade to the Colts because there is a strong chance they traded out of the chance to draft Anderson.

Honestly, we all talk about the QB. There are teams that would trade up with us for the opportunity to pick Anderson

In an ideal world, I would love to trade Fields and the #1 pick and still end up with Anderson and Levis.

I think Myles Murphy out of Clemson is nearly as good as Anderson and a better fit for the 4-3. He's not talked about as much because Dabo is running that program into the ground.

God I would love that, just on entertainment alone. The amount of heads exploding? THEN, if somehow it works out, they'd be yanking GSH off the arms and replacing it with RP.

We are all programmed to believe that however it goes the Bears will make the wrong choice. If they trade Fields and pick Young with the #1 pick then Fields goes on to be a great QB and Young is the next bust. If they keep Fields, then Young goes on to be a HOFer. So maybe Poles should go George Constanza and just go with the opposite of whatever his gut tells him to do.

Poles has done the opposite of what many of the fans wanted him to do. So far the results haven't been bad.
