I don't even remember the plots or where the story is left after a couple of years with these movies. You could recast them every time and it would not matter to me. These are throwaway movies to the majority. Watch it, have a good time and then leave it. It's the small but vocal minority that drives this consternation.

The trailer looks good but the teasers look terrible. I don't understand what they did with Namor. He's one of the coolest anti-heroes and they turned him into some kind of chubby Aztec guy. They need to figure out the villain is important in these movies. It was funny in one of the teasers 2 dudes are grappling and the Wakanda dude throws the water guy into the water and starts celebrating. What are you celebrating for dummy you threw the water guy back into the water. You should of thrown him up on the land.

I guess we'll see if they can pull this off. The VFX look rough in the teasers which isn't a good sign. There have been stories that Disney is churning thru overworked CGI programmers.

This must be great. Last night local news called it the most anticipated movie of the year. I guess there never was a Maverick 2 or anything else?

They didn't have the rights to Namor so this is what they came up with. The rule to avoid being sued is "25% off model" so it has to be 25% different although in this case it looks about 95% different. Nobody in movie will call him Sub-Mariner. They ask him what his name is in teaser and he says "kook kook cachoo" or something. I think he's saying the name of an Aztec god but I don't know who it is. I think people in theater will probably laugh. At some point he tells them his real name is No Amor the boy who can't love. Namor the Avenging Son sounds a little more bad ass.

The guy playing the villain is 5'6" so Lady Black Panther and Lady Iron Man are taking on Bernstein. The one thing these movies usually get wrong is not having a good villain to keep it interesting. Its probably going to take them an hour to defeat this guy and he doesn't look like he'd last 30 seconds.

The best comic book villains are inspired by clear racial animus.

I will, I’m seeing it Sunday and my expectations are low. I’d be fine with being surprised like I was with “Halloween Ends”.

Of course it sucks, like 99% of comic book shitflix. But the kiss of death was the OP( king of crappy movies)

What was worse than Black Panther in the first series of Marvel films (iron man - Avengers End game)? If you count the first Hulk movie I'll give you that one, but that's about it.
