This is a great example of something that has occurred, the consequences of which haven't really been thought about a whole lot. I'm sure academics study it, but I'm talking about the average person.

It's really only existed for about 50 years. And untethering sex from procreation is a monumental change. It's as world changing as the Gutenberg press or the microchip. Maybe more.

But I don't think people see it that way. They just like the positives without considering possible negatives. I'd say the same thing about social media.

Now I'm starting to sound like the Unabomber.

Your position would be less annoying if you were actually an ultra pious Catholic dude. Instead you’re this ultra pious Catholic dude who is also an atheist.

Because only ultra pious Catholic dudes don't saddle their wives with the side effects of the pill.

I might not be ultra pious, but I bet I could annoy you at least as much, if not more

If Whites were a turkey, two of the four feathers you'd trace using the outline of your hand would be death metal and indie rock. Ol' Nas here wants to pluck those feathers.

Feather 3 would probably be the MLB, and Feather 4 would be . . . maybe helping Western territories like Wyoming and Montana earn statehood.

Fixed.

There are valid medical reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with sex or pregnancy as to why an OB/GYN might put a woman on the pill.

I have no use for it. I'm sure my kids like it.

I think a slight decline in birth is a plus. The growth is unsustainable.

I think this is incorrect. Despite what is popularly proffered, population shortage is the more likely long term problem than over population.

Yeah, I disagree with that. Caring for the boomers who raped America will be the only employment for MANY.

Disagree all you want.

Future employment shortages in meaningful jobs is being anticipated in the future. It's somewhat here but for other reasons

It's not just the US. We are in comparatively decent shape. Europe, China and Japan are all in problematic population positions.

In all seriousness, you are right, though the problem is the birth rate, not the white birth rate. Plus, habitat destruction threatens almost all life on earth.

@Nas: I tried to photoshop that (1000 club) into my avatar once, but getting the color right was really difficult.

That trend and the infertility of American whites is leading to a decline in birth rates. I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

What a pleasant sentiment. Why do you hate death metal and indie rock?

If Whites were a turkey, two of the four feathers you'd trace using the outline of your hand would be death metal and indie rock. Ol' Nas here wants to pluck those feathers.

Feather 3 would probably be the MLB, and Feather 4 would be . . . maybe helping Western territories like Wyoming and Montana earn statehood.

I have no use for it. I'm sure my kids like it.

I think a slight decline in birth is a plus. The growth is unsustainable.

I think this is incorrect. Despite what is popularly proffered, population shortage is the more likely long term problem than over population.

I rarely disagree with you, brother. But here I do.

Maybe I wasn't articulate enough

You're very articulate.

I remember the days when one aspired to be appointed to that club.

I remember thinking that, and just how silly it must've seemed to outsiders. :eye:

until NSJ spamposted in the same thread one day...i think he was looking for another goal but holy shit...
