Another negative aspect of a running QB is being exhausted after some of the runs, not to mention taking the hit. A running back can come out of the game…Fields can’t.

They are not. His style lasts a couple of seasons before his body becomes too beat up.

Yeah, no excuse to have 50 yards passing against the worst passing defense in the league. One of these runs is going to end in Fields getting destroyed. It’s inevitable.

It wasn't really about the touchdown, but his tendency to run because he isn't a wildly inconsistent passer.

If I played the Bears, I’d throw the ball 60 times. Sanchize was making some point that the Lions need to establish the run and it’s not at all clear to me why that’s the case against this team.

He's being smart, getting down early. And he's clearly built for it. He doesn't look awkward when he runs. He easily could have been a running back.
