Oh it'll be a massive disappointment/disaster if they won't win the north at this point. I just want a SF-type team or whomever to just destroy them for once.

It will happen against the Bills and the Cowboys. Just wait a few weeks. They should get past Washington, but that's not a given.

Frankly, I'm just enjoying the fact that they are 6-1. I had low expectations coming into the season.

Low expectations? I thought it was the general consensus they were the ones to beat for the division..the NFC is weak, 4 teams could win it.

They changed from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and their backend concerned me. Add in a coach who's never done it before and I thought 8-9 was about right. I didn't think the Packers would be this bad and Detroit is awful.

Might be time to dump Dan Campbell and go pluck another head coach off McVay or Shanahan's tree.

Agree. Not sure on which offensive coordinators are there now, but Vikings considered the DC from both the Rams and 49ers. If the Lions want to mimic the Bears approach, they should hire one of those guys. But, the trend is young offensive coordinators and QB coaches I guess. They should never have fired Jim Caldwell.

Lions surprisingly 10th in offensive DVOA, even after getting shutout by the Pats and only scoring 6 against Dallas.

Lions dead last in defensive DVOA, 32nd; which lands them at 23rd overall.

Bears 29th in offensive DVOA, 26th defense, 29th overall.

Your Vikings are 20th on defense, 11th offense, 16th overall--perfectly league average team in a below league average division.

Vikings 16th overall (11th offense / 20th defense)
Packagers 12th overall (7th offense / 22nd defense)
Bears 29th overall (29th offense / 26th defense)
Lions 23rd overall (10th offense / 32nd defense)

Bears went from 15th in defensive DVOA before Dallas to 26th after

They had to do something with the Irv Smith injury. Hock hasn't lived up to his potential due to injuries but he has also been a Lion so maybe some magic can happen there.

It appears that the Vikings game is the game I’m getting in Wisconsin today. Not sure it’s worth going to a bar to watch the Bears vs Lions. The Vikes vs Bills us clearly the better watch.

Even though I have Sunday Ticket, I always like to check out 506sports.com and look at the regional NFL map (the college football layout is cool too). I've noticed the last few years there have been less and less Bears games playing in AZ. Most of the time the Cardinals don't interfere because they play in the afternoons (3:25pm central). I have wondered recently why that's been the case and how Fox or CBS makes those decisions. I guess it's because the Bears have not been a good watch and have sucked the last few years. They always used to be on here locally in AZ during the Urlacher-Hester-Lovie years.

Kirk Cousins may be the stupidest player in pro sports.

Except for getting paid, so there's that.

Until their head coach gets inside the five.

Then he is screwed based upon today's sample size.

Not trying to troll, Augie, but I really want someone to kick this team's ass. For me they're so fake and lucky. Escaping at the end of games which results in a padded win loss record. Looking forward to them being exposed. Arizona had these guys beat - they just had to muff a punt inside the 20 which was the equivalent of cousins completing a bomb to put them in the red zone. Of course if they represent the NFC in the SB then this post will likely get me ridiculed forever.

Looks like it's finally gonna happen this week after it should have happened last week at buffalo. All their luck is catching up to them.

This is so embarrassing but delightful.

False start
False start
Sack (7th of the day)
Punt

Total pretender. They are who we thought they were.

Yep. 49ers or Eagles are probably the best in the conference. The eagles are sputtering though. I think teams are figuring out how to play hurts.

Maybe add the Cowboys after today though the GB loss was disappointing/concerning.

Nathaniel Hackett should be fired tonight.

Gave the Raiders time to drive down and tie by calling a needless pass play that was incomplete
