3-7 currently

Remaining schedule

@ Atlanta

@ Jets

vs Green Bay

Bye

vs Philly

vs. Bills

@ Detroit

vs. Minnesota

Maybe 2 wins left on that schedule.

Could definitely get a top 5 pick. Definitely should be a top 10 pick. Houston, Carolina, Raiders, Steelers, Lions, Jaguars, Arizona, Packers all in the hunt

If season ended today, I believe they would be picking 6th.

Tanking is for losers. I would rather see my young QB put the team on his back and drive down for the winning score with time expiring

I would rather see my team put up 29 points or more 3 weeks in a row and win one of those games. If this was Mitch putting these stats up, people would be driving him to Canton.

Fucking idiotic.

The team is actually fun to watch, been over a decade to witness this again.

I knew detroit would win, they will win the next time we play too. It's good to see an offense put up points, we ate a lot of dead money and traded away our best guys on defense. This team will be much better next year after the draft and free agency. Our hc looks competent, and our OC too, our qb shows a lot of positive things for year 2.

What makes everyone think a high draft pick is going to fix this? The 2022 draft ain't looking too good. Brisker and Gordon can lay some nice hits but are brutal in coverage.

They need to fire Allan Williams and rip out this Tampa 2 crap.

A Green Bay win would be nice, I could see the Vikings possibly sitting some starters in that last game depending on their playoff seed. I don't like losing to some of the teams we should beat but if there is some improvement and they stay in some games it is much more palatable to lose and get a better pick. You have no idea what Poles will do as well. I hope they can find a stud high in the draft but he could trade out of it and get additional high picks as well in the top 100 players.

If they beat the Packers and don't win another game, I would be satisfied.

Hard to win any games with this defense, but the trading of quality defensive players was likely planned and mapped out as soon as the ink was dry on Poles contract.

Who had Sanborn to lead the team in sacks on Fanduel? Kind of what I expected, exposed in coverage, solid in run support and way more physical than Roquan Smith, who is kind of exposed as incredibly overrated, saw the Ravens using him as a third down cover LB, not exactly the type of guy you give a huge contract.

Still think you find a team that is QB desperate and swindle them out of a ton of picks to trade up a few spots like teams did to Pace every draft.

The Bears didn't lose because of the defense

two things I'll never cheer for are a Bears loss or a Packer win

I didn't even fault Lovie for those end of the season wins that messed up draft position and ended Urlacher's career

Nas, we love ya, but did you see the Bears D blow coverage after coverage, and the Lions QB sit back there all day with zero threat of a pass rush?

Maybe it was Uncle Terry's imaginary TV I was watching again?

The Bears defense gave up 24 points yesterday. That's fewer points than what the offense scored. Seven of those 24 points were an absolute gift by the refs. Again, the defense wasn't responsible for that loss.

The defense couldn't get off the field in the first half, keeping the Bears offense off the field as well

They didn't force them to punt a single time in the first half. The Lions had two drives totaling over 15 minutes. They simply bled the Bears out on defense. They were terrible. Check out Jared Goff's stats on the road before this game, and the Bears defense made him look like a HOF QB.

Again if Eberflus is smart he will shit can Allan Williams this offseason and bring in a new voice for Defensive Coordinator. Otherwise, as a Defensive Minded head coach, this historically bad defense will begin to blow back on him. People in Minnesota will tell you how bad Williams was as a DC over there.

They gave up 10 points in the first half, Bob. They also made the Lions punt on 4 of their first 5 possessions in the 2nd half.

I like Sanborn. He is good sized and a good tackler and showed an ability to rush the qb. I do hate the damned zone defense that they force these guys to play though. I'd rather have these guys play more man to man and blitz. What the hell are they afraid of anyway? I'd say in every first half this year, the Bear's have been killed playing this soft defense.

It's true. And, like I've been saying, they play weak zone all of the time in the first half. Why? I just don't get it. Why are they always putting themselves in a hole in all of these games?

Cover-2 only works if you can pressure the QB enough to prevent him from having enough time allow the WR's to get to the open spots in the zone. If you don't, even guys like Jared Goff look comfortable.

The Vikings game scares me. I need Minnesota to have something to play for.
