Thayer pointed out that Fields should have thrown to Claypool (single coverage) on the right side. Kudos to him gutting through a hammy and then a shoulder, but the constant running is catching up.

Yep! Terrible play calling and execution.

Yay draft pick!

I said it at the end of last weeks game and I’ll say it again.. Fields is gassed.

Getsy has to dig deeper to find ways to make this offense work. Justin is too worn out to keep this style going. They may even have to consider benching him for a week in a lost season to let him recover.

They've been our guardian angel. Their calls have led to 3 straight losses.

Touch Mariota's foot. Roughing. Land on Fields head. No call.

I'd just like to see them do more with the passing game and Claypool to make a few more catches. Atlanta is last in opponent passing yards per game.

He's under pressure before he can even get his feet set.

Mustipher, Schoenfield and Reif are not NFL every down O-linemen.

Agreed.

I guess the counter argument would be he could have 5 Hall of Fame OL in front of him and still wouldn't throw the ball.

Yeah, he doesn't trust his eye's. Guys are open and he's waiting 2+ seconds before he throws the ball. He has to become a better passer.

153 yards through the air ( 75 in the first 3 quarters) against the leagues worst pass defense . He's a great runner though.

The Bears Pocket collapses far too often for anyone to be an effective pocket passer. Fields may not be good at it but it would be hell even if were good at it.

Fields had about 10+ seconds to throw the ball twice. Guys were open. He's afraid to let the ball go.

Fields has a shit o-line, which everyone said preseason, and now everyone saying why can't Fields pass the ball. Also with a WR squad that everyone said is bad. He sets rushing records because of these facts and everyone still asking why the passing game isn't better. Hilarious.

And seemingly 8 or 9 seconds of those 10 seconds he is running for dear life.

If Fields doesn't play, the pass blocking will magically look better.
