Not sure who is calling the Seattle - Green Bay game, but at 13:17 in the first quarter, did I just hear the analyst say "They needed to find someone to give Deion Grant a blow." About one minute before the commercial started.

Good thing Tommie Harris came to play, one tackle and a costly fumble. Him and Urlacher have been stealing money all season.

I had never heard that phrase before this year, but now I've heard it 3 times already. Is it the same guy saying it every time? Dunno why he can't just say a "breather" or a "break."

The squib kick sucked, briggs and brown blew it on that last pass, but with that said, its funny, only the bears could lose a game like this.

Given the lackluster coverage on kickoffs, I understand the squib. But they really needed to kick it deep, to burn as much time off the clock as possible.

What a crappy, crappy game. I really thought the game was won on that last TD, but it really was a game the Bears did not deserve. Let the chaos of this season continue

Team is 3-3, but should easily be 6-0. Mercy.

Ah, where to start. First of all, I've said it a million times before, but evidently I'll be forced to say it a million fucking more times:

IN VERY SHORT YARDAGE SITUATIONS, THERE'S SUCH A FUCKING THING AS A QUATERBACK SNEAK!!!11!!ONE GHRASRLAFKLDJFKLDS

I just don't get it. Yet again, as they lined up, I said aloud "they need to run a sneak, but I know they'll hand it off and come up short." Why does this team outright refuse to employ the QB sneak? WHY?

Secondly: the Bears pass defense S-U-C-K-S. Balls. They suck balls. All fucking day long. I could lead a team down field against these bitches. And I've seen enough of the Tommie Harris show. Fuck him. Sit him down until he's ready to make a play. If the biggest play you make in a game is giving away a fumble by snapping it back to the offense, perhaps you ought not be playing. A big part of why the pass D sucks, in my mind, is the fact that they never get any pressure on the QB unless they blitz, and that falls on Harris.

Lastly. You kick that last kickoff into the opposing endzone. Sure, the kickoff team sucks balls nearly as hard as the pass defense, but goddamn; you gave them the ball on the 40 with 6 seconds; just about anything less than that, and the game's over. Even a long return probably would have had to make it to the endzone; there wouldn't have been enough time for a long return and a field goal.

Oh, one more thing: Orton's starting to look like the best player on offense.

orton looks more like a franchise qb. from what i've seen, these guys respond to him better, and he doesn't look clueless. i think he can develop.

squib kick in that situation = mentally retarded

if atlanta needed a TD to win, sure. but to give that that field position when all they need is a field goal, totally absurd.

That was a complete fucking joke. I agree with that Ramblin' Ron guy. Open up the checkbook for Bill Cower. (dies laughing)

I hate that they pried defeat from the jaws of victory, but Doug and OB are at their best after a loss like this. Old and pissed!

and this was a bad loss, but you're still looking at one of the better NFC teams here. when they do play a complete game.

You especially can't squib kick in a dome against a guy that holds the NFL record for longest FG.

Another nail in the coffin and indictment of the Lovie/Babich/Turner/Angelo era.

We win nothing more than a few games and maybe a division until they're gone and the McCaskey family either dies off or they sell the team.

It's just embarrassing. It really is.

Orton still needs to improve his accuracy and I'd like to see them score more in the first half. He did a nice job on the last drive. I couldn't have asked for much more from him today.

If they had won today I'd have thought they were lucky. I thought the squib kick was a terrible call and what happened after that was inexcusable. Vince Lombardi once said, "If you aren't fired with enthusiasm, you'll be fired with enthusiasm." I'm hoping that is true.

They should have played better, they have the ability. If Atlanta can carve them up Minne will hand them their ass next week. And I'm getting real tired of Tommie Harris.

Ding ding ding--and once again, what does that say about this team's talent evaluation? Not even so much that they just discovered Ortman, but that they had buried him the last several years and claimed he was not ready to play.

What's with all this Orton love? He's a nice QB, but he's a back-up. He runs a nice 10-15 yard offense but he throws the scariest fades I've ever seen and has no touch on long passes. I also realize his receivers blow. He's not the QB of the future.

Orton has done well the last couple weeks, but Forte is the best player on the offense.

On this team he is not a backup. I'll take Orton 10 times out of 10 over Rex fucking Grossman. With the terrible QB play in the league today, the Bears could do a lot worse than Orton. For the most part in thier 3 losses, Orton was not the main reason for that loss.

I agree with everything you said. But Grossman is a backup as well. Just because a QB isn't losing you games doesn't mean you cant do better.
