Claypool should have let him pick that.

Did Claypool even try to go for the ball there?

5th round pick, starting LT as a rookie doing a good job that will keep getting better.

Agreed. He's no worse than the starting RT next season. He's anchoring better and swallowing up pass rushers.

The Claypool trade is an absolute disaster, he doesn't do anything out there and you likely gave up a top 3 pick in the 2nd round for him. The Steelers are laughing all the way to the bank

Montgomery is playing well.

Siemian telegraphed that one.

I thought he was a WR1?

There's no evidence that it's a bad trade.

There is also no evidence it is a good trade. Honestly won't have an answer until around this time next year.

You can let them know he can't throw the ball to himself.

This.

People ready to judge the trade already are idiots, Caller Bob or both.

It would be nice if the Texans found a way to win a couple of games.

They would have to win three forfeits.

They aren't winning on their own

Amari Cooper can still ball. Trading a 6th for Cooper would have been a helluva lot better than a 2nd for Claypool

With the loss, Ted Phillips is assured of another losing season. As President, his tenure ends with only 7 winning seasons out of 24, and a shit stadium.

He's going to make $48M in the next 2 years. He's not a $50M receiver. He would still be with the Cowboys if he were.

You're going to be paying Claypool close to that money on his next contract

At least I'm not the dumbass that thinks it was wise to trade a very high 2nd round pick for Chase Claypool

Unless Claypool wins the MVP award next season, I doubt he'll have a $50M cap hit over 2 years. Davante Adams is arguably the best receiver in the NFL and doesn't have a $50M cap hit over the next 2 seasons.

Edit: If the Bears are in position to compete next season or the year after, I probably would swallow a contract like that.

Remember when the line was "all that really matters is that Ted Phillips got the stadium built"? The stadium sucks too!

Yeah. No doubt Zach Wilson would be doing just fine against this D.

If Fields had White’s stats the Chicago media would be planning a Super Bowl party. 22/28 for 315 yds and 3 tds. You can cop out it being against the Bears D but Fields has faced plenty of bad defenses this season and hasn’t come close to those stats. Mike F’n White

Theyre doing it when he throws for 150 against the worst defense in the league.
