Club Lago is a really nice, old school, guys kind of place. It just doesn't turn into a dance club after the last sitting. It reminds me of Louie's in The Godfather

You think Vaughn is going to get traded? I think that's the only way he and FAR SUPERIOR face each other in the 2023 postseason.

What the White Sox have done on the field and in their front office over the last ~14 months is nothing short of disgusting. I can't remember an offseason in recent memory where I felt worse about this team than I do now. They 'tanked' for years to give themselves this window, and now are seemingly doing everything they can to not win.

They are a joke and I think they will be lucky to win 80 games next season.

i think it's just an engrained mentality. My mom isn't a billionaire, but she's not poor. Her #1 priority in any home improvement purchase is cost. If there's a stove that's 100$ more than the cheapest one but 10x better, she'd buy the cheaper one.

Anybody who thinks Hahn is something other than simply a mouthpiece for Kenny and Jerry is sorely mistaken.

He's definitely a front for Kenny, but he's more than a mouthpiece. He has a voice....he likely makes a lot of decisions, but all of them seem to need clearance from Kenny and Jerry. THEN....you have some situations where Kenny has a "brilliant" idea to sign someone and Rick is completely overruled.

With Clevenger being signed, we are back to "re-tooling". This is a team that will be looking to flip players at the deadline, not competing to get into the playoffs.

The Guardians curb stomped them the final series when everything was on the line. Now we lost 2 of our top 5 players. As of this writing, they objectively suck.

The Astros skulled fucked them in 2021, then went on to win the World Series this season. That is the bar the Sox need to be measured with. The Sox are light years behind the Astros in terms of being considered a World Series team. In that light, they absolutely objectively suck.

I get what Frank is saying. But you can't really forget the Guardians. Realistically if the Sox are going to get to the level of the Astros then they have to be able to get past the teams in their own division.

Two Wild Card teams played in the NLCS this year. Teams can make a WS run without winning a division.

The Sox will not be 95 losses bad. Barring an unforeseen change within in the entire philosophy of the organization, they will suck next season in terms of missing the playoffs.

You think Reinsdorf's partners are holding him back? I think they're probably all of like mind: business first, hobby second.

I think most of the partners have made and continue to make so much money with the Bulls that Reinsdorf can do whatever he wants with the Sox and they'll go along. A few guys that aren't on the Bulls gravy train may complain, but what can they really say? Reinsdorf has finagled a stadium that is basically free and he gets the state- yeah, that's you and me- to pay for improvements every year.
