Baby steps. One of the better catches you will ever see in Mooney with a minute and a half to go in the 2nd quarter. They get the ball at the start of the 2nd half. Now its a ball game. Big Montgomery TD run.

That sums you up best Bob.

My advice to you is raise your expectations of what an NFL team should be.

I won't offer advice to someone who has never exhibited even the most basic knowledge of how football is supposed to played.

Do what you know, keep complaining.

This is how you think football should be played.

BTW all of Poles rookie class looked like shit today

Nah. Gordon and Brister both played well. As much shit people lay on Gordon, the guy hits hard and I think will be a really good players going forward. And Brister has been good all season.

Thanks for making my point more "eloquently" the I ever could.

Here's some more insight for you, it's possible for rookies to play well, that's why they have rookie awards.

Their top pick Gordon is so bad, under normal circumstances he should be benched

I disagree. The kid hits hard and is learning.

He's been pretty bad for most of the year, but he does show flashes of elite ability.

Yeah, he's been getting beat some. I love how he hits and you can see that his instincts to the ball are good. He reminds me some of a young Eddie Jackson. He just missed a pick six in that 4th quarter. There were a lot of "all mosts" in this game. Imagine if that run by Fields for the touchdown wasn't called back by that awful penalty? Baby Steps.

Giants are a season or two ahead of the Bears.

Bears job seems to have been more attractive as a potential long-term success project for a GM than a quick turnaround for a HC, so not quite as attractive for a guy like Daboll, plus you just got burned by going after the hot offensive genius type guy with Nagy, who by the way looks great fetching the tablet for Mahomes in KC so they can go over Andy Reid's plays.

I would think DaBoll would rather work with Justin Fields than Daniel Jones.

Hi I'm Ralph. I think everything is sunshine and rainbows with my 3-9 football team that gets embarrassed on a weekly basis.

Nope. I can just be somewhat objective about things. Unlike you who does nothing but bitch no matter what happens.

Of course they are bad. They have nothing on either side. They are the worst team in the league without Fields. Great observation. Remind me of how this is Eberflus's fault.

I still don't understand why coaches elect to receive the ball after winning the coin flip. What are they thinking?

How does electing to receive mitigate that?

The TV guys repeatedly called out the Bears for treating the game like a practice and not trying, you rarely hear that, a TV guy admitting that a team has quit on a coach.

This is quite an indictment of Eberflus who seemingly was brought in to rid the team of the oft injured, under producing, and overpaid vets while reworking the culture of the team.

You rarely see an NFL offensive lineman get pancaked because they usually rely on sound technique to anchor when bull rushed, and/or are strong enough to lock up and neutralize, the Bears o lineman are constantly getting tossed around, they are incredibly lucky Fields hasn't suffered a severe injury, but it appears he is somewhat shell shocked and is developing some bad habits.

The front seven that started against Detroit is easily the worst in team history, several of these guys won't be in the league next year.

The WR group routinely quits on plays and most of the guys run lazy routes.

Watching his press conference today it is really clear the man is in over his head.

Yeah, that's been clear since Week 2. He's a defensive coordinator and just a decent one.

His hire reflects poorly on Poles because it was fairly easy to see even before he was hired--based on comments from Indy beat reporters--that he had worn out his welcome with the Colts due to the rigidity of his defensive philosophy.

Because it appears he sucks

I think his defense has been fine since he took over. He's not Trestman, but he can't handle the pressure of running a team.
