Bears: 3-3

Packers: 3-3

Vikings: 3-3

It's winable for the Bears. 9 or 10 is all it will take. Might come down to a tie breaker. Viking suck. They can't hang. It's between the Bears and Packers. Of all the teams in the division the Bears have played the best. They have been in all of the games. Heart breaking 3 loses that could have been wins.

You have to win this division to get into the playoffs. The 2 NFC wild card teams are coming out of the South and/or the East. That's a fact.

and once again, NO team deserves to go to the playoffs from the west...but i'm guessing arizona will win it by default...at least they're kinda fun to watch.

This will be the first time, in a while, that both Packers/Bears games will mean a lot. Sometimes we've both been good teams but we've played them at the end when everything was clinched for 1 or both teams.

We play them in week 11 and week 16. If a team sweeps these 2 games there is your division champ. That 2nd to last game will probably be a playoff game. The winner of that will probably be division champs. Last week of the season won't mean anything cuz the Wild Card teams will have already clinched. Like I said, Wild card won't come from the North.

That week 16 Green Bay game is a Monday Nighter at Soldier Field.

I admit that the Packers series will be huge this season but the Bears need to beat the Vikes
next weekend at home to really intensify those games. Packers have already beaten the
Vikings once this year up in Lambeau. The Bears need to win next week and go into the bye with
some momentum and get some guys healthy. NFC North up for grabs between 3 teams that are
above average and a lot of football to play. Good stuff.

you can't dismiss the Vikes, especially against the Bears...

I have a feeling that pretty much all division champs and wild cards will be somewhere between 8-8 & 10-6, maybe an 11-5. The bears must win the division because with losses to carolina, atlanta and tampa they basically are fucked for the wild card tiebreaker. Home field in the playoffs is pretty much out of the question.
I would say that this week's game against the vikes is a must-win. It's at least likely that the bears will lose on the road to the vikes and pack so picking up Ws at home is imperative.
If the bears can shut down turner then they should be able to limit Peterson to under 200 yards. On one hand I'm scared but on the other the vikes barely beat the lions.

The Bears' loss in Atlanta would knock the navy & orange out vs. the NFC South for sure...0-3! That's one tiebreaker the Bears won't win if they stay tied...
