Ben Johnson is a legitimate balck name. This is very problematic.

The new platonic ideal of an NFL head coach is a svelte 30-something white guy. Bonus points if he’s ever spoken to Sean McVay or if he played backup QB at an off brand college.

1-6 to start

6-1 since then. The only loss came to a SB contending team.

How about the contrast between the "look" of the Lion's head coach and that of the Dolphin's guy?

Mike McDaniel reminds me of Joe Kelly.

I'd stick with Goff for next year, a healthy Jamison Williams and Chark with St. Brown could be the best WRs in the league. They need to draft a several Def players.

I would too. I would still draft his replacement.

I don’t disagree with the sentiment but if you use a high pick on a back-up you are asking for trouble. I don’t see how it would benefit the team to have fans calling for the backup when Goff has a couple of bad games.
