This does look pretty awesome. The public transportation alone to the stadium is fantastic.

It's perfect. It'll never happen, but it allows Chicagoans to laugh at the Arlington Heights Bears stadium designs.

I haven't talked to anyone in Arlington Heights who wants this team here. Arlington Park is practically Rolling Meadows; maybe they're more jazzed about it there.

Attending an event at Soldier Field is a miserable experience.

That's pretty much every NFL stadium in a major market. You think the Meadowlands is a pleasant place to be? or that decaying hunk of concrete in Landover? or the puffed-up strip mall 40 miles outside of Boston? Football is a TV show.

What's the expectation? To easily get in and out of a stadium? High school games also have shitty traffic.

Cheaper to pay a graphic designer than it was to put in a real effort before.

Yep. Would have been great, though.

Still can be for what could become my AFC team, Chargers or Jaguars. I’m sure Shad Khan and whomever the Spanos family will sell out to will kick in.

Plus at 60 miles away the McCaskeys will hopefully lose exclusive area rights. Screw those leeches.

Is the city going to pay $3 billion to get the Football White Sox?

How much was wasted on crappy Millenium Park? Or blown on the old rail yards off Roosevelt?

The distance between AH and Chicago grows every time it’s mentioned.

It’s the geographic equivalent of Lebron’s height/weight.

Eventually it will recede back also like Lebrons hairline.

I hope not, I kind of like Arlington Heights for what IT is.

Where are you getting 60 miles? City center to city center, it's 23 miles as the crow flies.

As for Millennium Park, it cost too much, but now I can't imagine the city without it. I can't believe there were just crappy exposed railyards there for so long and no one seemed to mind.

The jaguars love that idea for their new stadium.

I was joking about the distance.

This would never happen, but it is a nice presentation. But at least now the idea of a dome being a better idea has been accepted

I know it sounds crazy, but bigfan can get from Chicago to Arlington Heights in three hours.
