It's highly unlikely. I've seen nothing in 25 starts that tells me he can.

HILARIOUS. Take your freeking blinders off. No receivers, no decent offensive blocking. Stupid conservative play calling. You put any quarterback in that "offense" and their production would be as bad or worse.

Can you imagine what the reception would be within the fan base of Chicago is by some insane reason they traded Fields away for a draft pick or two? IT would be one of the most catastrophic things any owner had ever done to ruin his franchise. Right up there with the Red Sox trading Babe Ruth.

Yep. Babe Ruth is to baseball what Fields is to football.

Amazing how Trevor Peterman were able to find open receivers and not take sacks wasnt it ?

As compared to having an OSU QB as our future?

Maybe the Bear could trade Fields for Mac Jones.

The Patriots may want too much. It's going to take Fields at least 2 more years to match Jones' current career production.

If Fields and Bryce Young were both available in this draft, every team in the league is drafting Young over Fields. We've seen Fields show elite running ability in the NFL though but you also have to pay Fields a huge contract soon and QB's on huge contracts need to play at a HOF level to make it worth it.

I think it ultimately depends on what you get offered for Young and for Fields. Though, I guess the question would be if Fields is as great as we think, why wouldn't Fields get us even more in a trade than Young?

No
Fields was the 4th quarterback drafted and went 11th. Young seems to be a virtual lock to be the #1 pick unless the Bears let him fall to #2.

And if you could redo the 21 draft, Fields goes #2

We are talking about what we knew about them as college players. The fact that others in front have failed in the NFL isn't relevant.

Lawrence and Fields were always 1-2, dating back to High School. Most mocks in Fall of 2020 had Fields going 2, until teams overthought things with Wilson and Lance

If only we had an actual way of knowing how Fields was viewed by NFL teams at the time he was drafted.

If what you said was true and he was the #2 pick in the draft then he wouldn't have fallen to 11 even if Wilson and Lance jumped him.

I think a lot of the discussion was if Fields was even the 4th best quarterback in the draft at the time.

The Fields cult wont even countenance the thought that he might be traded for picks.

Orlovsky was a huge (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky apologist, the guy can't pick a winner at qb.

He would probably be the 3rd quarterback taken. He definitely wouldn't be the 2nd pick.
