JORR can't make an argument that any individual player is better than Michael Jordan. That's hero worship too. Not even trying to stop Jordan from being the GOAT.

I've made many. You just can't hear them because Jordan is your idol. That's fine. I don't want to convice you otherwise. I'm sure your dad can beat up my dad too.

Let's start with the 38 year old guy who is averaging 30, 8, and 7.

How was Jordan doing at 38? Breaking down, getting fat and ready to play subpar golf.

You do realize that Jordan has a greater list of accomplishments in a much shorter amount of time don't you? Just Asking A Question

Only if by accomplishments you mean "rings." And then we get into the Horry discussion.

No we don't.
# of scoring titles Jordan 10. LeBron James 1
#of First Team All NBA Defensive Teams. Jordan 9 LeBron 5
# of League MVPs. Jordan 5. LeBron 4

That's just for Starters

So your choice is LeBron James? Anything else besides his play at the age of 38? Not a good start to be leading off with LeBron is better than the Wizards Jordan but I want the full argument.

Yeah Someone is actually celebrating the fact that he is a 6 time loser in the NBA Finals. Which is odd. The 10 appearances mean nothing considering how weak the East was at the time.

That's not true. Jordan has more MVPs, DPOY, and All Defense 1st teams than Lebron did, in a much shorter time.

You don't need to invoke rings at all to show why Jordan was better. He was the best two way player we ever had, nobody with his scoring ability ever came close to winning DPOY except him. Scoring the ball and preventing the guy in front of you from scoring will always be the most important attributes to winning at it's core, and Jordan was the best ever at it. That difference on defense is a large part of what allowed him to dominate his peers to the tune of 6-0 in the Finals. LeBron stopped playing defense in the middle of his Miami run and it's cost him more than one title since then most likely.

Also, can we please get into the Robert Horry discussion? That's the best Jordan debate.

If we add up points yielded from both their assist and scoring, LeBron (and Magic) are more productive than Jordan. So that takes care of the scoring title argument. I'm certain you wouldn't argue that George Gervin was better than LeBron.

All the other things are stuff that people vote on. LeBron has been the legit MVP almost every year he has played. People just feel like it isn't fair to keep voting for him.

Still qualify as accomplishments, so your rings argument remains wrong. You desperately want it to be only about rings, which is why you have no rebuttal for my argument and just erased it in your reply

LeBron is probably the most physically gifted NBA player since Wilt. He could also effectively guard 1-5. What separates Jordan from him is Jordan played nearly every game like he was starving and fighting for his life. I only saw LeBron do that in Game 6 against Boston and both Finals against the Warriors. That desire and willpower often separate good from great and great from legendary.

Joe has denied his country.
Denied his faith.
Denied his art.
Despite all this, never would I have thought he would deny his city.
The Chicago accent is probably fake

Well, that would be 10 MVPs that you're acknowledging. I would argue there are more. Maybe Curry legit beats him out once. LeBron was obviously better than Nash in 2004-05 and all his numbers were better than Kobe in 2007-08.

Michael Jordan is not from Chicago. Born in Brooklyn, raised in California, lives in Florida. I back Zeke.

Now would be a good time to point out you don't think Scottie Pippen was a great player.

Both Lebron and Jordan should have won more MVPs than they did, yes. Lebron was obviously better than Nash in 2004-2005 and obviously worse than Duncan, so doesn't change anything. And maybe he wins more his 2nd Cavs stint if he was half the defender Jordan was at the same age. Maybe he wins another title too. Who knows. We just know he wasn't as good.

So far, I believe all of JORR's arguments place Karl Malone as the best player of the 90s.

Scottie was a great complementary player. It's absurd to say he was one of the 50 best of all time.
