12 calories would be pretty tight  but I can certainly see what 1500 might look like for me. I don't eat a lot in the morning so really just need to split that up over lunch and maybe light snack at night.

1500 is pretty easy, protein shake 2x a day and a meal

No notable weight loss yet but eating better and feeling better. Still drinking beer Fri - Sun but not a ton of it.

If you are serious about cutting weight..you have to stop drinking..or switch to vodka- water

I would also add that ceasing to drink soda and juice of any kind can make a big difference as well--it did for me at least.

alright made it back into the 220s today. Down 11 pounds after 1 month of dieting.

My big vacation to Scottsdale for my Maccabi 10 year reunion is May 17. If I can get down to 210 by then I'd be very happy. Or at least somewhere between 210 and 215.

Gives me room to lose 5 pounds per month which is usually what I average on my diets once I get past the first month.

1.5 lb loss this week. Down 15 pounds since I started last month.

Looks like Tbone dropped out of this the second he was told that beer is bad for weight loss

I took TM's advice and tried the Intermittent Fasting. 16:8, basically I don't eat after 7 and then don't eat till 11,-11:30ish the next day. I've cut 15 pounds in 3 weeks. Tons of information on reaching autophagy and its benefits if you are interested.

I'm down roughly 5. I was doing really well getting to the gym at 4:30am and then got sick for a week and after that I lost all momentum. I made it to the gym once this week in the morning.
Planning on going next two days. I am not willing to give up beer to lose a little weight. I've just been eating much more reasonably. Hopefully if the weather can inch back into the high 30s and better I can get back out and walk more outside with the dog. Been pretty miserable the last few weeks.

How long did it take to become autophagy?

They say you can start it at 16ish hours but that's debated. For sure after 24 hours. I did complete a 36 hour fast as well to ensure I got there but that sucked

So all it took was a day and a half to become autophagy?

There isn't really a test to measure it. My shoulder which always needed cortisone shots is getting better.

Do you think it’s more nature or nurture? Like, does everybody succumb to autophagy at the same time or do some people need to be coaxed with a few beers?

Spaulding, if you aren't so fat that you can't see the high quality shoes you are wearing, all is well.

Spaulding isn't fat unless you prefer a starving model.

another pound this week, I'm grinding it out. Close to 20 lb loss and close to being in the 2teens again. Final goal is to see a number that starts with 1.

My wife forced us on diets after Fat Tuesday. Pretty much just modified breakfast and lunch to simpler meals with no sugars or carbs. Dinner staying somewhat normal and I've switched from beer to bourbon with the exception of Friday and Saturday.

I'm not weighing myself, but the jeans feel more comfortable after 3 weeks.

I've seen a couple guys I know drop at least 25 lbs this year on the carnivore diet.. not really sure what it entails but they definitely dropped some serious weight in under 3 months.
