I have a football and a soccer ball. I'll bring both just in case.
I've got 3 evalutions, best balls around...

Then we rowshambow for teams. I'll go first.

that would be a good problem to have...maybe two halfcourt games...

I will do my best to make it. I will post my basketball resume so you know who you are dealing with.

1993 - Member of the Warren Township Blue Devils Varsity Team - number of minutes played - 32 secs

1994 - Quit team to work at Foot Locker part time after school

Used to be 6-1 190 lbs and now clock in at 6-1 235 lbs.
Used to almost be able to dunk, now I think I can still touch the net with two hands

Haven't played a competitive game of ball in a few years, who is brining the paddles in case of cardiac arrest? Should still be fun, as long as there is cold beer at the end of the rainbow. Hope
this all works out.

I'll take care of the gym and the balls...the afterparty should take care of itself, although I don't know the area too well...perhaps we can all adjorn to my grandparents house down the street, and scare the daylights outa 'em...

I think I suggested it somewhere before, but we should pick teams before we see each other. Of course those who have met might have an advantage, but I think it could be hilarious.

5'5" 235 lbs.

5'11", 155. I'm sure I'll wind up playing the point (although I'm just a short two-guard like Ben Gordon).

Did you send Spmack an invite? He's like 6'2" so he'd most likely be one of the biggest guys there.

Seriously  ?

I thought I'd have been the shortest one there. I used to be about 5' 8" and around 190 lbs. Now, I think I shrunk to 5' 7" (either that or my wife is getting taller) and I'm in the 205 lbs range.

Credentials: I was a starting member of back-to-back conference champs (regular and post season) at Conrady Jr. High School back in the mid 80's. Back then I was known more for my defense.

Edit: You had me there Killer. So I guess I will be the shortest one there (assuming I can make it).

The [almost] no way Jose list:
RFDC (out of state)
Darkside (likely hunting)
Irish Boy (finals)
shirtless driver (work)
Colonel Angus
lipidquadcab (Iowa)

The willing but unsure:
Dr. Ken
Nas
Ugueth-may be there despite being unable to play...
Ryno's Wife-also in the cheering section...
Darren-Tinley Park
Bagels
T-Bone
Tad Queasy-may be in the cheering section...
spanky
frontman
Baby McNown
newper

In like Flynn:
CoF-"quite naturally"
Suckers Playground
Hawkeye Vince
Killer V
the Original Kid Cairo-I assume...
spmack
M-Jeff (just kidding)
Krazy Ivan
Crystal Lake Hoffey-which means perhaps redneckmommy?

I'll update as we go along, but as before stated, this looks promising...

nope, I think that's KC so far...and remember Cairo, the bigger they are...
methinks you're likely to be the most talented guy there, what with the push you've been doing for this over the last couple years...

Quite naturally, as was stated previously by myself, myself is in.

6'6" 230 lbs.

I am an older gentleman, recently retired from a previous occupation to some extent. Pertaining to history, certainly I have mentioned that I was cut from my high school basketball team.

It is indisputable that I have not seen what the stakes are for the game. Certainly, a small wager would make things more interesting.

So in reality, we have 6 people who say they're "in." That's a far cry from "30!"

6'9 185 lbs.

Make sure to have a cortizone shot and don't forget to ice those knees down. Wouldn't want another Washington Wizards situation.

there's some strong maybes. I don't think I said 30, but maybe I did. I'm picturing 12-16 plus sideliners...so what is your actual height?

I'm not great, but not bad either. Although I did graduate from Proviso East with NBA veteran center Steven Hunter!
