#9 is kind of betwixt and between in this draft. The top talent at that spot is probably going to be a corner. Poles cannot spend another top pick on corner, even though the probably need another and the two guys will be better than anything they have.

I'd love to see that last qb of the four fall to them and get out of 9 for a in a swap of 1s and another top 50 pick.

Will Anderson and 3 position players will go before the Bears pick. Jalen Carter may be one of those guys. It's a great spot to be in.

I have no doubt about the following:

4 QB
1 CB
Will Anderson

The Lions may be out of the corner market.

and the Bears seem to be locking themselves into OL

And another year of changing the channel when the defense is on the field

Looks like KC gonna play Taylor at LT, so Taylor coulda been a guy you slid over to LT in case Braxton Jones shit the bed his sophomore year. Very disappointing.

and definitely do not believe in Borom. Poles pretty much said that before they even went to training camp

Armed with the most cap space in the NFL, a disaster

A nice inside linebacker won't matter when guards have him on his ass most plays

That's an overpay and a stupid use of cap space. He's going to get his ass handed to him playing behind the worst dline in football.

That cap space is disappearing fast. Mully said it went from over $100m to $72m with the DJ Moore trade.

If they hadn't signed him, you'd be screaming about why they haven't they signed him, they have the cap room!

You don't give that money to off the ball linebackers in a 4-3. I've said that all along.

That's about $20M more than he should have been paid, but he's only 25.

They are probably down now to 30 or 40 million free but still no right tackle and the worst defensive line in football.

I love Edmunds and wanted them to draft him out of college. Great move.

I don't know why they signed both LB. I guess they don't like Sanborn as much as they said.

What do you love about Edmunds? He doesn't rush the passer, he doesn't generate turnovers at an elite rate either. He's a decent guy but that's about it.

You wanted the Bears to draft him over Roquan.

Is a middle linebacker off the ball?

Has Edmunds really lived up to expectations? I know he was a hot name in that draft.

Depending on the structure of these deals, the Bears probably have another $50M to spend. They could still cut Eddie Jackson and Whitehair to free up another $15M.

Edmunds goes from a front four of Rousseau, Oliver, and Miller to a community college dline. Good luck!

Love the Edmunds signing.. I’m nervous tho because we haven’t grabbed one of the big vet O-lineman or D-lineman yet.. the lines should be priority #1
