We got Nate Davis.

Spending this kind of money on linebackers with no defensive line whatsoever is like buying luxury floors with no roof on a house.

The Bears are replacing bad linebackers with great linebackers. The defensive line will come. Maybe in late April. Be patient.

Edmunds was a guy I wanted. He's going to play in the middle.

Most of the top guys are still on the board.

I still want Bradbury and Brown.

You don't give that money to off the ball linebackers in a 4-3. I've said that all along.

Is a middle linebacker off the ball?

I read Edmunds will be playing WILL in the Bears defense, so yes.

Last season, Edmunds' 86.9 coverage grade was the third-best among off-ball linebackers, per Pro Football Focus. Edmunds forced an incompletion on 10.3 percent of targets and allowed just four explosive receptions, per PFF.

Edmunds' athleticism and coverage ability make him an ideal option to start at the WILL linebacker spot in Eberflus' Tampa 2 scheme,

TJ Edwards is too short to play MLB. Plus, they are going to play a lot of nickel.

Yes, he's an option. Nothing is set in stone yet.

MANY realize you're simply making posts that indicate you are both in favor of and against the move you can do your lame 'Swami Bob' thing later on.

I'm not sure where that quote is from Bob, but he can also play MIKE and cover the middle of the field like Urlacher once did.

We will all wait and see

I hate to break this to you, but he's no Urlacher, even though he's getting paid like it.

He's getting paid less than Roquan. He's also significantly younger. He was literally a teenager when he was drafted.

Yet Roquan is making more $.

Poles received a 2nd round pick for a guy who was never going to be here long term anyway, and the replacement is better and cheaper than the guy Poles moved.

Big win for Poles, yet here you are trying to hate on it.

What were the three positions Eberflus said he needed to run his defense?

I recall it being 3T, Will and ?

The only positive I will say is at least they didn't sign Okereke. They really have to stop importing Indy here, that team is in the tank.

Safety, Lovie's D worked best with Tommie Harris, Brian Urlacher, and Mike Brown.

Still tons of work to be done, but we have four new starters, need seven more (OT, C, G, two DT's, and two DE's).

Combined, Edmunds and Edwards are cheaper than Roquan.

Didn't say that we was Bob.

You are pushing hard for most miserable SOB here.
