How about somewhere in Hoffman near the old Poplar Creek. I don't mind a drive as long as I don't have to traverse Buffalo Grove after even a single drink.

Ditto. I'm pretty sure I've read rants from Darkside.

Neither is a shocker. I'll take angry old white man over "dumbass kid" any day. I was old the day I was born.

On a somewhat related note, Jimmy Cordero made the Yankees roster. Coming back from Tommy John surgery after Renteria destroyed him. Good for him.

JORR is right to be disgusted. JR has shown no loyalty to the fan base from the gitgo. And it progressively has gotten worse as he now undercuts partial season ticket holders. He thinks they're stupid. He obviously hates tailgaters. He thinks they spend nothing in the ballpark. He's probably right but what they do do, is show up for a bad product. I don't. Didn't go to a single game last year. I doubt that has happened in 55 years.

Sure. I don't necessarily disagree with any of the above.

But what started this discussion was a flat out lie; "[The White Sox] took away tailgating so they could sell it to you." That is just patently not true.

I highly doubt they'll be enforcing the no table rule. That would be beyond ridiculous. However, If I was to tailgate, I'd definitely put down the hundo for the extra room and the early park. There was no need for the threats as incentive.

As I said I have seen tables all over the place in the lots. The only time I saw anybody get shit for it was when they were in the middle of the lanes blocking the aisles playing beer pong. JOrr doesn't tailgate so he doesn't know what the fuck is his talking about and fell for a headline just like Caller Bob.

I doubt they will enforce the no table rule either. But even if they did, there are about two dozen other things JERRY does both on the field and off to dick over the fans that are worse. This is really a nothingburger and for somebody who doesn't even participate in tailgating to get so incredulous about it is pathetic.

If people willingly choose to pay extra for a one hundred square foot spot and early access, more power to 'em.

I looked up the 2022 "DON'TS". No mention of tables or tents. The point is, this is how he rolls. He's a don't guy.

He gives hundreds of thousands of free tickets to kids and their families. How many tickets have the Ricketts family given away?

Leury is not making the team.

I won't fault anyone for being frustrated with Leury but Romy Gonzalez hasn't showed much either. I would have seen if, when returning to his pre Larussa role as a utility, he could also return to being a .270 hitter who can play 7 positions.

He fell off the table. There's no climbing back up at 32. Not a utility guy. By definition, utility guys aren't good enough to begin with.

That's the thing, a 27 year old Leury would still have some trade value. A 32 year old Leury needs to go play in Japan.

That contract was mystifying from the moment it was signed, both in length and dollars.

Don't worry about Simple Frank. He'll just sit down on the hot asphalt with a hot dog and a beer. Jerry has him covered.

To be fair, this type of thing isn't anything new. It's a legit question why THIS is the tipping point for you? JR has zero loyalty to the customer base and it's been like that from day one with ONtv. Cubbie Wubbie Fuzzy Wuzzy Nation didn't take over Chicagoland by accident.

Because he's a lunatic who falls for any headline he reads online, the jumps here to post about it. If only 1980s punk rock JOrr knew what present day JOrr would become, he would have jumped off the Sears Tower 30 years ago.

I haven't defended Jerry one time over this discourse, but that doesn't stop Jorr from deflecting to cover up his own lies and shortcomings.

You can call it lunacy but I don't. It's the systematic disrespect for the people of this country who make it work. We need a big ol' nationwide strike to remind these fucks who really is important. And trust me, it ain't Purdue Rick.

The lunacy is Jorr falling for a headline or a tweet hook, line, and sinker, then doubling down on it instead of refusing to say, "My bad, I read it wrong." He started a thread which is now 15 pages or whatever about MISINFORMATION, yet he posts exactly this on a daily basis here.

You're not wrong in the context of the White Sox. My point what that Jorr's initial post on tailgating matter was flat out not true. Either he doesn't have the intelligence or integrity to admit his errors at this point.
