He's in the top 10 in contested catches since he's been in the NFL. Don't be butthurt that the Packers losing out on Claypool led to the fall of their franchise.

He's abysmal at contested catches. Routinely turns them into turnovers.

Packers fans lie, numbers don't.

Claypool also has 34 contested catches since 2020

Back to the original point it's not a slam dunk that he's even better than Mooney. That's why Pittsburgh unloaded him, he was pouting because he lost targets Johnson and was starting to lose them to Pickens. The fact he couldn't be the man over Johnson speaks volumes who is a pretty good, but not great receiver. We got fucked here on this trade

In fact, I think they pay Mooney this year and let Claypool walk at seasons end. And I jizz in my pants at the thought of having a chance at Marvin Harrison Jr in the 2024 draft.

As I said before, the Steelers chose to pay Tomlin's guy. They weren't going to pay both. I don't think Johnson is better at anything except being a bigger diva.

Poles must be confident he can find guys that can start day one at OT and C in the draft, it could be an incredibly young group next year, especially if they move on from Whitehair.

They still need about 5 more defensive linemen, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he punted on center til next year.

I see similarities between Claypool and Patrick Williams. Here's what I mean: everyone said the key to the bulls really becoming something was unlocking Williams. If you tap into his potential then maybe there's another dimension to the Bulls. Maybe it's the same with Claypool. If he's something then perhaps that elevates the WR room to something above average/good. I won't say it elevates the entire team. But to start he actually needs someone to throw him the ball.

Due to the nature of finding out everything they can about Fields this coming year I think they should build the O-line 1st.

That said, there’s nothing wrong with seeing what falls to #9.

Plus I heard he’s 80% done learning the playbook.

He still has to solve the problem of his quarterback throwing him the ball when he's repeatedly open. How does he overcome the need for Fields to target St Brown?

He had more sacks last year than any Bears D lineman, a rotational guy most places, likely an upgrade over Muhammad who gave you one whole sack last year.

I didn't know who he was until like 20 minutes ago. I haven't looked at any highlights on YouTube, but he's definitely a stud.

Poles is a millennial and probably played Madden franchise growing up. He could be just scrolling through Madden player ratings snd deciding who to sign. If that's actually true it'd be bad but I think I'd understand, I'd prolly do it too.

The thing is, the d line was so awful that anybody he signs with starting experience elsewhere is an upgrade.

He almost literally can’t field a worse defensive line than he put together last year.

Poles is a former player, he knows O and D line talent.. we finally got a guy who isn't an inept dipshit nerd.

That's easy to solve. Just sign anyone to a cost effective contract then edit the player's ratings to jack up potential and other key metrics. Now you have a burgeoning superstar for basically nothing.

The group they trotted out for the last few games last year might have been the worst front seven in franchise history..

Lots of talk about Bijan Robinson on the radio. I assumed Poles told us what he thinks about drafting Robinson by expanding the RB room to four RBs, two of which are credible committee-type RBs. I won't understand the thought process if he drafts Robinson.
