I like the faster games but I'm finding this season to be lackluster and boring thus far.

Some scouts think he'll be good and some think he's going to be great. He looks really good so far.

It's early but the Cardinals have the 2nd worst record in the NL and their rotation has been terrible

Their pitching has been awful.

Their rookie OFer has been tearing it up so far.

They will rebound, but I do wonder how much of an impact losing Yadi has been on their pitching staff. I don't think anyone truly realizes how much someone like that does for the pitchers.

I'm sure Willllllson and his Tourette's syndrome behind the plate isn't helping them either.

The Red Sox' yellow cityconnect jerseys are a half step above the Great Britain WBC jerseys.

AL pitchers arent as dumb as the NL ones were. Sliders out of the strike zone and thats it .

Oakland can't keep animals from shitting all over visitor broadcast booth so Mets had to call game behind a pole.

The last place Cardinals' starting pitchers have a 5.51 ERA. Wilson Contreras is hitting better than Molina did, but he can't seem to call a decent game behind the plate.

I'm sure the Cardinals won't finish in last place. But it's fun to watch them there 10% into the season.

Othani goes deep first AB vs Yanks BUT the other MVP Judge leaps up and robs a HR from him!

What's the point of a retractable roof? Isn't it 100 from May to October?

I think you answered your own question with 100 degree weather (see Miami).
It would appear the A's will have at least a 2 year gap on where to play once the lease with Oakland expires. That should be comical. I guess the A's wanted to look dumber than the Chargers in terms of stadium decisions.

I did? Solid roof seems the play here.

They can't be thinking about going with regular grass, can they??

They needed to resolve Oakland and Tampa soon so they could start discussing expansion with the MLBPA and hammer out the process and get sites picked before the CBA runs out in 2026. I heard this morning that MLB may raise $2B for each of two expansion teams, which would help mitigate the drop in RSN revenues for a while.

How are they going to water regular grass?

At night in Vegas it's not unbearable, although the solid roof does seem to be the better option.

I'm thinking about what this might mean for the Sox. In one sense, when Reinsdorf dies, there will be one less market to which the team can be moved in the event of a sale. On the other hand, if the A's actually spend the additional money they make, another team will move ahead of them in terms of an ability/willingness to spend money.

It's too bad. Such successful teams (besides the ones that blew it in the first round every year) and couldn't get the fans in the park.
