it's official. We now are at 12 solid in's (except Killer V's knee) and I am calling the Park district today to reserve the spot. I still think we may end up with more than 12, but I think at this point I will reserve the small gym once I figure out how big it is...updates to follow.

Hey Killer V - put a little dirt on it!

Oh, I'll be there regardless of my knee. :weelchairbb:

Can I go on the pub crawl with your wife while you play basketball with these guys?

Trust me Dr. Ken, if the people attending the pub crawl were half as interesting as the people from
this board, it would have been a much more difficult decision. That and the area they are going to is
2.5 hours away, while basketball is just one hour for me.

Has there been a time mentioned? If it's earlier in the day (late morning) I'd have a better chance of making it. If it's later in the day, then I'll probably have to bow out gracefully as my wife's family is getting together for "Thanksgiving" dinner at my house that day. The more I was thinking about this event plus the tragedy of HHJ, I was really hoping I'd make it just to meet some of you here on the board.

I don't doubt it would be fun but since I have done it all before I would rather meet some of the
cretins in person and share a beer or two with them and maybe catch some college football after the
hoops

Just teasing C2C :P

And by showtime you mean everyone standing around watching you roll around on the floor, grabbing your knee crying 'Why, why, why'?

It might be a good idea to have some EMTs on site if this thing really happens.

The only thing that would make this kick ass would be a Marv Albert sighting at the event - I can hear it now. There's Hawkeye Vince taking the pass on the left wing, dribbles hard to his left, pulls up over Hoffy YES!

You need full fledged medics. I don't think EMT's are trained to work defibrillators.

Sports fans and amateur athletes, please do not hesitate to solicit my services for the basketball match you are organizing. Pre-game, post-game, and after-party at the W Hotel for the low price of 5 grams primo freeze.

I agree. When I'm surfing this board on my telegraph it takes like 1,000,000 beeps to download.

BTW, you can change that Stinkfinger excuse, hes simply scarred from being a tall, lanky white guy without the coordination to play hoops.

At first I thought it was no big deal when COF said he PM'd everyone about the upcoming Hoops event. Now I know it took him several days and hundereds of dollars to do so. God bless you COF. I hope you enjoy reading this post later this evening after the page fully loads...
