I think a lineman that would keep Justin Fields on his feet would facilitate the offense more.

Justin Fields can keep himself on his feet by GETTING RID OF THE FUCKING BALL.

I mean, you can go through the list of the last "X" Superbowl winners and it seems they had a fucking nobody at running back. I don't see drafting a running back high, correlate with success

Yeah, RB is the easiest position to fill, no way in hell do you waste a pick on Robinson.

Do you think acquiring an elite RB is a detriment to a team's chances at winning the Super Bowl?

Id be real happy with skronski or Paris Johnson, think either can be a 8 year starter.

I'd be fine with Skoronski. I'm not sure Johnson is an improvement over Braxton Jones.

Yes

Explain.

Superbowl caliber teams are just that because they don't throw valuable resources at the running back position

Who are the best running backs of the past decade? I'd say they're Henry and Barkley. Did their teams fail to win Super Bowls because they selected elite running backs or because they couldn't identify good quarterbacks?

The Giants would have a good QB if they took Josh Allen instead of Barkely

They could've drafted Herbert in 2020.

The fact that they didn't had nothing to do with Barkley.

They are not even gonna give Barkley a 2nd contract. They are just going to play the tag game. And Robinson isn't as good as Barkley coming out of college.

I'm with you. Skoronski or Paris Johnson are the picks I'd be very very happy with.

If Carter, Skoronski, Johnson, Smith-Ngjba (sp?) and the CB from Illinois are all still there at 9, should Poles trade down to 11-14 if he can get a 3rd and a 4th for his troubles?

In my humble opinion, Carter is the one really elite talent in this draft. I would not trade out of taking him again. He will not be there. I would make your proposed trade for all the others.

just get us elite talent irrespective of position

Poles could justify a pick at every single position on the team

Every expert I have seen or heard seems to think Skoronski is, unquestionably, the top lineman in this draft. I don't even care if immediately goes to guard and kicks Jenkins to RT. I don't mind if Jenkins isn't thrilled being moved around because I would not give him a second contract anyway, due to his back. He only helps his value if he shows he can play tackle.

I really like the center group in this draft as well, so I think they can set themselves up on the interior with this draft. If Nate Davis is the find some seem to think, you can do a lot of good things being strong on the IOL and a little weaker on the edges.

Then, with two #1 next year, get yourself an OT in a (hopefully) stronger OL draft class or go back to free agency.

How much better can Skoronski get? He probably has the highest floor, but I don't see much opportunity for improvement.

Hopefully it is at a rate of speed consistent with road regulations.

I don't think Carter will fall to #9. Is it possible Poles will trade up to get Carter?
