I'm a little surprised they got him in before Cyndi Lauper, what with the whole Rock n Wrestling circus, but he definitely belongs in. I can only hope Lawler is healthy enough to be the one to induct him.

Any of you guys watch RAW last night? I am seeing things online about HHH announcing a new Title Belt and a new Champion. Does this mean they are going to have 3 world title belts? Is Roman going to keep the 2 that he currently has and then there will be a third? Or is Roman just going to one title and belt?

I did like the looks of the new belt I saw, kind of a throw back look to some past belts.

My takeaway is that Roman is going to have 1 belt, 1 title. Similar to 2002 when it was the Undisputed World Championship or whatever, then Vince placated Hunter with the Big Gold Belt.

This looks like the evolution of the Big Gold Belt. I think it's nice looking.

They'll probably give it to Cody.

Caught some of the JYD thing, hard to fathom how over he was despite his lack of in ring ability.

The incredible contrast between the high level old school story line building and ensuing nuclear heat reaction level from the fans back in the day and the half ass tumbling contests you see passed off as pro wrestling on certain AEW segments is striking.

It would seem the modern peeps would try to emulate some of the stuff JYD did rather than just copy the exact same moves from each other every single match chasing Uncle Dave's imaginary star rating system.

3 years ago a big fat sloppy high school freshman told us in one of my classes that he was going to be a professional wrestler. I don't think anyone believed him and just thought it was the crazy dreams of a high school kid. The last 2 years he started going every weekend to a wrestling academy in St Louis. He has lost like 80 lbs and has got himself in really good shape. He is 6'7" tall. Tonight, I got to watch him wrestle his first indy match. I was not expecting to see anything great. But I have to say I left being really impressed. He actually looked and acted like a real wrestler. He did a clothesline off the top rope better than I have seen some actual guys on TV do it. It was really cool to see him in his element. Now I know he will probably never make it to the big time, but was pretty cool to see him reach this goal. But who knows, maybe one day he can get me backstage at a big event!
