They’re trying to show her maturing into a leader but nobody watching really has any reason to care. Speaking of the show’s random granting of combat abilities, I like Pre Viszla telling everyone to go because there’s too many, so he’ll hold them off. There were not in fact too many and he killed them all and if everybody stuck around they could have easily dusted the red dudes. Gideon has to die to set the stage for Thrawn, guessing somewhere things will look bad for the good guys and the Mythosaur will eat him and turn the tide.

I just hope that the serial helmet-taker-offer doesn't get to ride the Mythosaur.

Won’t be any worse than Boba Fett riding the Rancor

Somehow Darth Maul returned.

I’d heard rumors of this. He was not killed in the prequel movie. In fact he has a long storyline after the scene when he is cut in half by a light saber. If they were to bring him back it would lend credence to a future season of Kenobi. Not really sure that is needed though.

Obi-Wan killed him again in Rebels, it was a pretty good scene.

It was a good scene and some very good Rebels episodes with the trips to Dathomir, dealing with the witches and joining up with Savage Opress. My worry is that they wouldn't be able to do that storyline justice in a TV series. Guess we will see what happens.

Season 3 in the books. It was a bit of an uneven season with definitely one episode ( 6 ) that really wasn't needed but overall it pushes the series ahead. Was hoping for more of a cliffhanger in the finale or even some kind of tie in to the Ahsoka series but there really wasn't much in there ( maybe Din and Grogu will show up as an arc on that series ). Also disappointed that it was only like 35 minutes long but not sure what else could have been added if that is how they wanted to end the season. I will definitely keep tuning in but hoping they go back to the original formula and bring in some other characters and storylines throughout the galaxy's Outer Rim.

I'm glad Mandalorian survived. With all the talk from Disney about the patriarchy in Star Wars at their convention I assumed he was a dead man.

I thought it was decidedly average, which I'm okay with. As usual Mando looked great in some fights and in others had to get his ass saved by baby Yoda. Every Empire base needs bottomless pits of doom. Preferred the old planet of the week episodes than the season long plot, but that's a personal opinion. Glad the darksaber is dead. They run out of special effects budget for the cruiser fight? Axe is fighting off TIEs in one scene and then 10 minutes later the cruiser is in flames crashing into the base for some reason.
