It’s the first time a player has fewer than 25 field goals and more than 30 turnovers in a single postseason since the three-point era (1980).

Giving new meaning to the phrase "Ice Cold Trae"
Quote:
Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young has lost some of his luster over the last couple of seasons.
Young is a two-time All-Star who earned an All-NBA selection last year. But as strong as his offensive numbers are, his shortcomings on the defensive end limit his ceiling. The 24-year-old is widely considered one of the worst defenders in the game.

He has also struggled mightily in the last two postseasons. During Game 1 of the Hawks' first-round series vs. the Boston Celtics, Young shot just 5-for-18 from the floor with only one made 3-pointer on five attempts. Over his last seven playoff games, he's 8-for-49 from beyond the arc. That is the most attempts with the fewest makes in a seven-game span in playoff history.

Haven't seen an NBA team get bullied in a long time quite like Cleveland is being bullied by the Knicks on the offensive glass. Every rebound is a strain for Cleveland

simply too small to defend. amazing he has any offense at all too with his stature. such a tiny little fuck boi. 24 yo too, so growth spurt not happening. he will get stronger, but he will become a shooter in a couple years and only in games at the end when theyre down big. will never get into a rythm and probably shave his hair in a desperate attempt to get laid. no girl wants pencil dick.

I was surprised that the Lakers stayed at the same hotel I did in Memphis last night. I had booked my room in January for a conference, and the rate was only $170/night when I booked. I didn't recognize any of the players or staff I saw, but they were sporadically boarding one of two buses to go to the arena.

The funny thing is because I had booked so far in advance, I had already confirmed one of the 12 suites.

yeah, some folks are pointing to Giannis' sub-par for Antetokounmpo game tonight as an excuse -- this Bucks roster should be able to beat this Heat team that lost to the Hawks and were down to the Bulls in the 4th quarter of the play in games without needing Giannis even.

Sure, it's a bad game for Giannis but it seems Bud has a bad coaching game every game that Giannis doesn't play perfectly--even those games could be coached better. Spo prolly over on the other bench thinking, "seriously? I'm gonna beat these guys with Jimmy Buckets and his borderline G-League supporting cast..."

Spoelstra helluva coach, gets the most out of whatever players he has it seems and usually out-thinks the other guy tactically. Embiid should've gone to Miami with Jimmy and played for Spo instead of staying in Philly witih Doc.

Wouldn't be shocked if they whacked Budenhozle after this. They lost to a team that was 3 minutes away to not even making the playoffs. A team that lost to Atl and damn near lost to a Bulls that people here (not me) will tell you is trash. Inexcusable and the same thing that screwed the Bulls all season also screwed the Bucks. Bad coaching. They struggled to get good shots in 4th pd and overtime. Even with an experienced group of players and a coach that has been with them for 5 years now. Had no clue as to where they wanted to go on offense and didn't even no how they wanted to guard in the half court either. And Erik Spoelstra is a great coach. An absolute great coach.
Jimmy Butler dominated down the stretch as he did the previous game but he didn't have to make good on one plays because the sets Spoelstra was calling was getting him layups at the rim in the 4th Quarter.

They still should have won. They were up 16 to start the 4th. Couldn't even get good shots up and even on that last play to send it to OT how does Connaughton end up on Buckets under the rim for the tie? Why was he in the game at all? Just Asking Questions

Why didn't Allen pull up for a 12 footer at the end?

Probably thought he had enough time to get to the rim.
And also didn't have confidence in his floater. I don't think a lot of players really practice that shot anymore and not a lot of players can shoot off the dribble either. Either it's a catch and shoot 3 or a layup at the rim these days. That situation just screamed mid range

Poor instincts since he was challenged at the rim and had a wide open free throw. I wouldn't normally harp on these things, but the coach didn't lose these last two games because basically, 13 missed free throws and 7 turnovers from your star lost this.

Yeah but that's basketball. Teams make mistakes but when you have a decidedly better team you aren't supposed to lose. Miami isn't that good and Jimmy Butler isn't a superstar. If you look at the sets Spoelstra was running in the 4th and compare it to what Bud was running there was no comparison. Miami was getting whatever they wanted while Milwaukee was struggling to get shots up. It wasn't that they were just missing "good" shots. They weren't even getting good shots up. Against Buckets, Bam and a ton of G-Leaguers. Unbelievable!

Yeah I agree. Looks like a completely different player than he did 2 years ago. Still a solid pro though but 2 years ago he was playing at an elite level.

I noticed that at the end of the Warriors-Kings game 4--Draymond basically stood directly under the Kings basket and swatted away layup attempt after layup attempt. You wouldn't even have needed a 12 footer to win that game, a little 6 footer from middle of the lane was there all day but all the Kings kept dribbling right into Draymond standing under the rim.

It's the dumbest thing in today's game honestly. They keep telling everyone that those are "bad shots" thus you never see anyone practicing it. Either 3s or wild layups at the rim.
