Sounds like the Blackhawks are waving the white flag and trading away their stars.

It's a little disappointing that Kane never won us a 4th title. He's no Jordan.

The Bandwagon opens for today only as we thank one of the major reasons we jumped on the bandwagon for his service even though Curious Hair always hated on him.

Don't know who he is but I'll take it as a compliment.

Funny about Stan. The tank worked for two teams!

should I get the alternate blackhawk jersey for bedard or wait for a holiday version. I'm going to be rocking that thing when I get my tickets on the glass.

Bedard goes to the combine and measures basically at Patrick Kane dimensions. I'm not worried. Should I be?

a lot of "experts" said Kane would be too small to succeed in the NHL prior to him being drafted. All Kane has done is not only prove them wrong, but change the game to where guys his size can hang and play in the league and have some measure of success. With everything else Bedard has going for him, I expect him to be extraordinary.

Shoutout to our unofficial second bandwagon team the Las Vegas Golden Knights for proving the world wrong and most importantly Curious Hair wrong by hoisting the Stanley Cup!

It's only fitting as the Blackhawks start another run that will likely result in 3 or more titles that the Knights get one in before our dynasty begins.

At his age I was 5'9'' and made it to just shy of 6 feet. Even without a growth spurt there is nothing to worry about at his current size.

Got a Blackhawks hat for Father's Day. Guess I'll start paying attention to them again. Love that they got Pang as I enjoyed him on ESPN and on Blues games.

I think the problem might be, will Bedard hold up at Center?

There hasn't been a #1 pick since Kane whose key attribute was skill. Hughes's best attribute is his skating.

And I don't know that Kane changed the game as much as it was changing already with rules legislating head shots and blindside hits out of the game. Plus, with the number of fights going down and the overall shift towards skill over brawn, Kane just came along at the right time to take advantage of the game opening up.

Bedard is a far superior defensive player, Kaner does a lot of cherry picking and he's certainly is never gonna backcheck like Bedard has shown he can do.

The NHL needs big market teams to succeed, it makes perfect sense for a David Stern type magic pingpong ball bounce that benefits a big market team, reading where the Golden Showers vs. random small market team final was not exactly a ratings bonanza.

Now if the NHL can just make sure they Wirtz proof the management of the team and get the Hawks to draft at just a competent level we should have an entertaining and competitive team in a major market which should in turn help with ratings leaguewide.

There is a very real possibility that the death of the RSN's could get us back to the days of HawkVision.

Wonder how many folks would pay for to stream the Hawks and what number of subscribers would be needed to make a Hawks network or streaming service profitable, this is certainly way beyond the capabilities of the Wirtz family, so maybe a partnership with teams, or more likely a gaming outfit, the gaming services seem to be the deep pocket players these days.

Sounds like we're ready to declare Bedard a bust. Too bad. It's been a nice run for the Hawks over the past few weeks. Time to return to obscurity.

They may pass on him. It's a deep draft.

I think the concern is, can he play C rather than just the wing. I think he is gonna be a superstar, it just would be nice for him to be a superstar at the Center position.

Just put him in the middle. Problem solved.
