I don't remember much about this course and they have made some drastic changes to the design by tearing out trees and redoing greens. The least exciting major, but the one that seems like anyone can come in there and win if playing well. I suspect we will see a lot of the usual suspects hanging around the top like Sheffler, Rahm and Cantlay as well as some guys who maybe aren't as well known. There will be a number of top LIV guys here as well which will be interesting. I like that they are still in there as it makes the field better. I wouldn't mind Finau or Homa getting their first major but just not sure they are at that level quite yet. If I had to bet some money it would likely be on Rahm.

Spieth out with an arm?

If you're looking for a dark horse check out Gary Woodland or Hayden Buckley. Old man Adam Scott has been somewhat getting it done as of late as well.

I'll go with Tyrrell Hatton because he yells at his clubs just like I do.

Spieth looks like he is going to play.

Alright. I took Buckley for $5 to win $1500.

I need that $5, Frank. And I'm coming for it if you are wrong.

Play through it. I played a freaking state tournament in a snowstorm with 30 mph winds.

Grow a pair.

I think anyone who gets out early in the season around here knew that this could become an issue in certain years. I still like that this tournament has been moved up in the rotation. A couple of hours shouldn't be a huge deal but certainly a disadvantage for some of the big names that will go out in the earlier wave today. Playing in 40 degree weather isn't that difficult and these guys have the best equipment and clothing in the world.

Chris French, PGA pro at Aldeen in Rockford shot 78 today with a triple. Not bad. He's a really good guy too.

That is cool. There is a guy I played junior golf against that qualified for the PGA back in 2016 at Baltusrol. Shot 72,71 and missed the cut.

It is a tough course this week and I don't remember the PGA being this penal in the past, almost US Open conditions. on some holes.

I didn't watch a lot yesterday but from what I saw the rough looks brutal.

I just learned that the players can use range finders at the PGA Championship, also there is no one ball rule. Very interesting.

Leaders getting a nice break as it looks like they will get a big part of their round without the heavy rain

Koepka your 54-hole leader

Watched and listened a bit. Digging the Michael Block story, and he gets to be paired with Rory tomorrow.
