It looks like a change of scenery and coming back home has done him good. He earned a spot in spring training I didn't like when he was sent back down. I think we have a nice rotation in outfield. Adell is tearing it up in minors again. I have no idea what the plan is there. Maybe trade for pitching if his value starts to go back up.

The best thing for the Angels is that Kelenec is hitting in Seattle, which will get some National League GM to believe there is hope for Adell. He seems destined to be a Giant.

Best case scenario it clicks for him and he's our left fielder for a long time. He might be the worst I've ever seen at tracking a fly ball and that loopy swing isn't going to work at major league level. Maybe he'll get that worked out with a full season in Salt Lake. I can't see a scenario where he gets called up this season.

They called up our 2021 1st round pick yesterday. That will be interesting. They're using that wiffle ball down in southern league and he was struggling with it hopefully going back to a regular ball will cure his command issues.

The Cubs have been aggressive about promoting their pitching prospects from AA to AAA so far this year, in part because of the pretacked ball.

High school outfielders high in the first round seems awfully risky to me. Hopefully Moniak has figured it out. Adell probably needs a change of scenery and a AAA environment which isn't as hitter-friendly so that he really has to work on his swing. Trying to include him in a package for the Pirates' David Bednar wouldn't be the worst idea.

Im finding the quality of MLB play this season really lacking vs other seasons.
