What now? Kay to face Suwinski in the 8th? Alzolay for the 2-inning save?

can boog shut the fuck up.

Girardi is just playing with him now.

You catch how Girardi said how one of the players matured and fucking Boog thought he was talking about him. He's like 'Me?'. No fuckface. Are you a MLB player?

And now they brought food into the booth. That orange oaf is going to start shoveling food in that enormous pie hole on air a la Benetti.

Girardi just called him 'Boogie'. they had a shot of them in the booth. it's like Girardi is picking on him. it's not very good tv.

Six run sixth yesterday, five run fifth today. It'd be nice to finish off the sweep against the Buc's with the Orioles coming to town.

Our youngest daughter who was raised well as a White Sox fan, took our two oldest grandkids to the Cubs game today.

Life is painful at times.

They hit so many HRs that inning that they ran out of sponsors to say "this HR brought to you by....."

Glad the next generation is learning to root for the proper team in Chicago.

This would be a fun one to attend. Cubs have been punishing bullpens this week.

When I took my kids to Vegas in May, my son showed up in a soccer shirt. I damn near smacked him.

I'm good with soccer shirts.

Almost all of our kids and grandkids were in LA for a wedding when the World Cup final was played.

We had a blast cheering for Messi and MANY were in Argentina jerseys.

They were not allowed to play soccer nor was it ever viewed in my household. Lol

I know it's a Cubs thread but I'm still going to tell the story.

Dr. Ken Jr. was 5 or 6 and joined the futbol team. Their first game was a Saturday. By Tuesday, they didn't have a coach. So I just said I'd do it. The Bandit and I went to the library and I got as many books as I could about the game and rules. I'd never played. Didn't know the drills or practice sessions. Basketball, baseball, etc. - I know how to run a practice.

So, I got about 5 books like Soccer for Dummies and tried to run a practice 2 days later for the Saturday game. It was unbelieveably stressful and ultimately sad. We never won a game all year or even scored a goal. And a couple of the kids were pretty good. I felt horrible for them. And responsible.

Caught a couple innings of today's Peacock broadcast. Jim Palmer and Joe Girardi worked well together. Girardi was much better away from Marquee Cubs glorifying and dealing with Boog.
