I just remember the articles at the time and how he approached them for the long term security. Im not sure he ever recovered from that shoulder injury he had and luckily it's not crazy money that they gave him. It will be good when he is off the books in 2025 though that much is for sure.

In all three games against the Nationals, the offense was a limp dick vs the starting pitcher. If they had anything resembling a major league bullpen they would have swept the Cubs. I expect them to lose 3 out of 4 to the Cardinals.

Coming up to 2 full years since the '21 trade deadline sell off. First ½ of '21 2 < .500. Now 5 < .500. Still only 2 position top 100 MLB prospects.
