We had at least 2 teachers in high school that we were their first job. Geometry teacher freshman year was super young for sure. Found him on a quick google search teaching in Mendota of all places but looks like he was 22/23 when he started at our school. History teacher was probably same age but she started a year later. To the best of my knowledge there was no extra curricular activity going on.

Just don’t hire teachers that are going to sleep with students. With all the pointless school administrators these places have they should be able to vet them.
