Sox brass either can’t identify prospects or can’t develop prospects. Nothing matters. I’m sure as shit not listening to the same people who had Moncada as a top 5 prospect.

A bunch of pitchers with injury histories and a second baseman who can't field.

Let the half-assed rebuild begin!

I'd love to be wrong about this.

What are the odds Uncle Jerry cleans house? And I mean from executive VP down to Sox Math?

They had their chances to hire good people, too. Dave Dombrowski wanted to come back here.

Yeah, I mean, I guess he won't do that. We just need another Bill-to-Rocky situation.

Such a joke.

Jerry is the problem. I see this ending one of 3 ways... He continues this insanity, he does what he did with the Bulls, or he dies. I doesn't have a kid interested in running the Sox, so that leave 2 options.

100% correct. This is the worst franchise in sports. Pre-Rocky Hawks.

That said, I sure do hope Rick Hahn trades all the viable major leaguers on the roster for prospects Rick Hahn thinks are good.

Stop it. It isn't even the worst in baseball. The team formerly known as the washington football team was forced to sell because it was stealing money from partners and pimping out its employees to season ticket holders

Can we figure out a way to get Reinsdorf to do that?

How many season tickets are you willing to buy, and which employees are looking to pimp? You a Katz guy?

They’re a cuspy playoff team with a new owner. If Howell is average, they’ll be fun to watch.

Sox are a lot closer to this than you think. 1 season over the last 40 in which the Sox have won a playoff series. That is the worst in MLB during that time.

Don't short them. I think it's 1 season in the last 105 years...

I thought this was a joke. Sadly, it isn't. They've only had 3 seasons....EVER... where they've won a playoff series. And 2 of those were over 105 years ago.

I guess I didn't realize how old Kenny and Rick are.

This is like the pre-Veeck days. Just a complete mess, from top to bottom. There's only two choices here, find a white knight, a Roland Hemond, or sell.

John McDonough changed the Blackhawks culture albeit tainted now, and Theo did the same with the Cubs. We will see if Warren does it with the Bears. My point- if the White Sox brought in the right executive, ownership would matter a lot less.

I agree. Ever since I saw Moncada play I doubted his power capability. I do wonder if his "power" was chemically supplied and not natural. For starters, Moncada is not what you would call a guy who looks naturally a guy with a lot of power. He looks like a middle infielder whose natural weight is maybe 175 to 180 pounds who bulked up to maybe 220-230 pounds chemically and weight lifting. Whoever scouted this guy made a huge mistake regarding his upside especially in the decision to pay him the ridiculous amount that they did.

Jerry won't bring in the right executive. It's impossible.
McDonugh wasn't brought in by Bill Wirtz....Rocky was smart enough to hire someone and then stay the fuck out of it.

I really don't need to follow these guys in the minors like I did during the last rebuild. I can just leave it to Bob and Brogue to scour Twitter and hand deliver all the news I need.

Tuned in after the Burger deal and I thought that the kudos that Benetti and Stone handed out to Burger was excellent in its portrayal of the player as a player and a human being. I was also happy with the reception that Burger got with the fans in Miami. He certainly has still got to prove himself but he won't lack for hustle and a good attitude. I clearly hated the trade because of his history of getting a few really bad breaks but fighting through them. Meanwhile we are left with the same sad sack management group and very few talented players. wonder what color gloves and baseball shoes Yoan will trot out for the remainder of the season, speaking of the anti-Burger, Moncada
