Trea Turner’s OPS ranks 132nd out of 144 qualifying players.

His 14 errors are tied for second most in the majors.

1.0 WAR through 108 games.

He's in year 1 of an 11 year, $300 million contract.

"What a catch by Meyers in center field! Oh my, did you see that catch!? One of the best catches you'll ever see." - John Sterling

No John, I didn't see the catch because you're a radio announcer and I'm listening to the radio because I'm not in front of a television.

That is crazy. Would love to hear the replay people version of how that can be an out?

From what I'm getting, unlike the on-field umpire, the replay doesn't/isn't supposed to factor in if the runner's hand was pushed off or not, just that the hand was off, so they're out.

ok well that makes more sense then.

Still crazy. Replay officials should be able to use the same judgments as the on field umpires. It was clear he pushed his hand off.

for you people who like information for whatever reason, the Orioles haven't been swept in 75 straight series as they go into this morning's play down 0-2 in this series. Also, Kremer has been good against only one team this year, it just happens to be the team they are playing. Have fun

PHILADELPHIA -- Michael Lorenzen threw the 14th no-hitter in Philadelphia Phillies history, a dazzling performance in only his second start with his new team, which beat the Washington Nationals 7-0 on Wednesday night.

Lorenzen, 31, struck out five, walked four and improved to 2-0 since he was acquired from Detroit at the trade deadline for a minor leaguer. His 124 pitches -- a career high -- are the most by any pitcher in a game this season.

Our own Bagels and RPB witnessed this in person. Pretty badass. I doubt the average fan ever attends more than one of these at the pro level during their lifetime.

Dodgers win 11 in a row.

Lance Lynn on fire tonight. He’s been great for them since the trade

Loafs to 1st. Then, pouting doesn't keep his head in the game to see if it's a catch or not.

dodgers can't score 7 runs every game. burnes was great. the brewers are likely to score 1-2 every game and when they score 3+ runs, they throw a party. they just can't hit. truly amazing where they're at.

cubs traded soler to kc for davis. cubs just traded velazquez for cuas. velazquez hit 2 hrs in cards series and then 2 more hrs in mariners series. likely see him today.

Good thing the Nats shut him down that year they were contending so they wouldnt ruin his arm for the future . Say what you want about Reinsdorf but he’s 100% correct in not giving pitchers long-term contracts

Cubs are paying Dansby Swanson $177M with a 30 higher '23 ops than '22 Nico Hoerner with near identical errors and games played.

They have a weird fan base, they don't fill the place up even when they are leading the division. The ballpark location is inconvenient unless you work at USDOT headquarters down the street, and nobody trusts that their subway car won't break down mid ride.

It's a transplant city. The lifelong Mid-Atlantic people are Orioles fans.

Who also rarely attend baseball games unless their team is in first place and even then, maybe not.
