Supposedly he's been fine.

The first-team line has been getting eviscerated without Davis and Jenkins. The backup guards don't seem very good.

Also, Wright has been very shaky in team drills.

I'm curious if Nate Davis ever intends on playing football for the Chicago Bears. He seems intent with his new payday and "checking out".

I think they will use the two of them just like Herbert and Monty, with Herbert getting Monty's role. Lots of carries for both

Claypool is beginning to make Brandon Marshall look like a paragon of mental stability.

Also, Tyrique Stevenson is apparently starting to play better.

By all accounts, the offense needs some fight. I'm okay with Claypool for now. Besides, a couple of reporters say he's had the best camp for the offense. All say he's played well. IF this leads to dumb penalties during the season, I'll reevaluate my opinion.

I think the emergence of these rookie cb and gibson spells the end of jaylon johnson as a bear.

I think Jaylon Johnson is safe for now. He's their only good outside CB.

For you all having regret about not taking Bryce Young: https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/08/09/panthers-training-camp-bryce-young-wednesdays-joint-practice-jets-frank-reich/

Interesting that they have Leatherwood at guard, talked about that last year and that is where college tackles that fail as NFL tackles end up, he's a big body that should be able to be at least a solid backup at guard.

They are apparently going to start the year with an unproven LT, a proven, but oft injured guy in Davis, Whitehair who is maybe a replacement level guy at this point, Jenkins who is far from proven, and they are putting a ton of faith in a rookie RT.

Hearing some of the "Bears experts" talk about how good the offensive line was last year...did they watch the center and guard play last year, it was pathetic, there is still a ton of work to do on both lines, as Jurko said the other day, they build the outside of the house before building the foundation.

Why is St Brown being discussed in a post about 1st team? Dont like the sound of that.

I think Claypool pulled his hamstring yesterday.

After he hurt his hamstring yesterday, Claypool stood on the sideline and loudly cheered against Tyrique Stevenson for the rest of practice.

Complete tool.

Apparently everyone in the secondary despises him.

"The offense did not look good today in any way, shape, or form."--Mark Grote

If Grote is saying this, you know the offense absolutely sucked today.

He's a fruity diva.

The guy talks trash all the time but melts down when the defense responds in kind.

He is definitively NOT the kind of player who can be relied upon in high-pressure situations.

Street Clothes still not practicing. If Poles had bothered to put a call into Mike Vrabel he would have stayed away from this clown. I wanted Ben Powers

Seems like you listed a whole bunch of guys- including Nate Davis- so you could piss and moan and say, "I wanted this guy," as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

Caller Bob wrote:
There are a bunch of really good FA offensive lineman in their mid 20's that Poles needs to target

Kaleb McGary - RT - Falcons
Mike McGlinchey - RT 49ers
Ben Powers - G - Ravens
Jawaan Taylor RT - Jaguars
Dalton Risner G - Broncos
Ethan Pocic - C - Browns
Orlando Brown JR - LT - Chiefs
Andre Dilliard LT - Eagles
Nate Davis G - Titans
Perhaps if you had bothered to put a call into Mike Vrabel, you wouldn't have made such a moronic post. Fucking genius windsock.

I think Ben Crump is preparing a lawsuit against him as we write

Ben Crump is preparing himself for the wave of manufactured racial crisis in 2024. There may be a BLM cameo.

Keep in mind that frustration was mounting with Love in Green Bay after the defense outperformed the offense 6 out of the first 7 padded practices.

The Bears are now in a similar situation with their offense having "beaten" the defense only once in the past 7 or 8 practices.
