Probably costs 10k per day just to run the proposed AC system too.

I heard it costs roughly $6,000 - $7,000 per game to run the AC here at Chase Field.

Well yea. The state of Wisconsin is conservative AF. And generally very racist. They didn't want a new stadium built where the blacks live.

It's been reported that the road greys of the era said "Brewers" instead of "Milwaukee" because the WOW counties were part of the taxing district and didn't want it to look like the team represented The Blacks.

The Milwaukee Brewers could start looking for a new home this fall if state and local officials fail to reach agreement by then on a taxpayer-funded package to fund improvements to American Family Field required in the team’s lease with the state, sources say — a process that might lead them to the boomtowns of Charlotte, North Carolina or Nashville, Tennessee.

"Sources" say they "could," that's mealy-mouthed clickbait quality reporting. I mean the Brewers could be, they could also be looking to relocate to Arlington Heights too, which is an equally well sourced story.

Same could be said about getting financing to fix the dump. Why do you want to spruce it up for Cub fans anyways. Go to Nashville, let's get Nashty!

Yes sir.

And Bob will probably get 3 more vaccinations prior to it all happening.

Hopefully he lays down in the middle of one directly in front of a steamroller.

No air needed, don't get enough hot weather to matter

They saved $10 million on the $400 million initially spent to build. Now they want $300 million for improvements and can't find a way to get AC in the budget? That's penny pinching. It reminds me of when family or friends have guests over to stay and they're too cheap to either turn on the AC or they have it on but at an uncomfortable temperature. You can be cheap if it's just you, not when guests stay.

Enjoy going to games in the muggy summer when there's frequently a chance of rain so the roof must be closed. 85 degrees, 60% humidity, and a chance for thunderstorms tonight! Luckily they're playing at U.S. Comiskular.

I do enjoy it, those basically 10 games a year you are talking about. I also love going in April, May, October too

Also, what weather convenience does your stadium supply?

I know you don't enjoy it. Stop lying. The next thing you're going to say is that relying on a modern luxury like air conditioning makes people soft.

If you go out to a Milwaukee restaurant today, it's going to be air conditioned. You'd leave immediately if it wasn't. Why should that be different at a Brewers game?

It hot as titties in Phoenix. Unfortunately, the Diamondbacks can't play in Flagstaff. Air conditioning is on and set to 72 whether the Chase Field roof is open or closed. The roof is shut if the temperature's over 100, so it's essentially closed from June through the end of the season. It would be open in October for meaningful baseball, but the team is dog shit.

I thought they only close the roof in the 8th inning to screw with the opposing teams?

Isn't it more like Comiskey with a roof (tailgate parties, big on concession stands, outdated as soon as it opened)?
