Young Crest is headed back to school tonight so the family got together for breakfast in a northern suburb to send him off.

I see a guy wearing a White Sox shirt so I go up to him and compliment his team and wardrobe choices.

I then said to him, " Rick Hahn has to fuckin go, soon." To which he responds, " I work for Rick Hahn!"

"Well, the leadership isn't evident and something needs to change. For the first time in my life over the last two weeks, I've been embarassed to be a White Sox fan."

"Change is coming, I can assure of that." was his response.

He then introduced himself as Chris Getz, the assistant GM and we exchanged some small talk. I have a relative that works directly with him and we exchanged some stories.

You literally tried to conduct a rebuild and failed... Do you really need internal discussions about this? This is a pretty simple decision. Unless you had (3) different people try to conduct the rebuild at the same time, this is a waste of time. I am just not buying that Hahn was getting overruled all the time. Perhaps with Tony, but I don't think a different manager could of stopped you from handing out that contract for LF this past offseason.

The only "interview" should be Reinsdorf calling David Stearns the minute his contract expires and begging him to take over as President and clean house from top to bottom.

Milwaukee is the smallest market in baseball, they have been competitive for a number of years, and they have more good prospects in their system this year than the White Sox have had in the last decade.

The re-build went ok for a while, but it frankly seemed like a mirage at the time. The only time it didn't seem like a mirage was the beginning of 2020 and 2021. I liked the Lance Lynn signing, but it was clear before they got him that he wasn't gonna be the guy for the long haul of a season. And so on and so on.
