1990 was a really good draft for the Sox; Alex Fernandez, James Baldwin, Ray Durham, Jason Bere. They also drafted Bob Wickman.

If they drafted this well over the last few years, they certainly would not be on pace for near 100 losses right meow.

I'd say, "Theoretically, it could get worse," but I think we've reached the limits of theoretical awfulness. This is it. I'm half-expecting the Sox to call up Minnie Minoso or Eddie Gaedel on September 1st. Or maybe Kopech will take September off because he is worried about the flu season.
