Seriously, had a IBM business partner lunch, there was about 8 people around this table and I was talking about some of my experiences with the product I was there for. This guy, out of nowhere and with nothing to do with the conversation, says "You look Jewish, are you Jewish?". I told him I stood up in a Jewish wedding and asked if that counted. He said no.

i'll be in for the cheering section.....and if anyone wants pictures taken i can volunteer for that

But for afters we was thinking (yeah it hurt me alot) To go to Shoeless joes at manheim and 72/higgins (damn, living in the sticks i have started calling streets by their numbers). It's near 90 so that way if anyone has to leave to get to other expressways/toll roads they be all good.
They have a decent sized place and maybe if we know somewhat of an exact number going there we can get a few tables or one larged one reserved.
Here is the link, to the resturant if anyone is curious

COF - any regulations we need to know? i'm assuming no shirts/skins and you must bring a separate pair of shoes in with you. Anything else?

regs: definitely no street shoes. I doubt there is a skin ban, but please people, bring one "light" shirt and one "dark" shirt. I will go no further or Beardown will be on this thread in an instant. We do need to work out some ground rules for play (we all gotta go to work on Monday) and any thoughts about that would be helpfull...

We can do the rules on the fly when we get there. Based on the number, I think we'll be doing alot of 5 on 5 with subs.

that's what I figure. With 14 for sure's we should end up with at least 11-12 people there...and that's my most conservative estimate...

-Games to 12 by "ones" with a 2 pointer line - win by 2 or first team to 18.
-One team wears "light" shirts, the other wears "dark" shirts.
-Women are automatically declared "skins."
-The rims will be raised by 5" every 8 minutes.
-Any basket Killer V actually makes will count as 4 points.
-Any baskets made by players whose names include the letters "riginal id airo" will not count.
-One player on each team must wear a bear costume.

Pretty standard stuff. Anything else?

I normally play pickup games up to 31 with 2's and 3's and win by 2. Call your own fouls. Man or Zone, up to you.

I will call shoeless joes probably the monday or tuesday before hand and see if they can at least reserve a table for x amount of people. I am not sure if they are having any thing going on that day but if I hear otherwise I can call my peeps and see if there is anything else in that area that might be able to accomodate 20-30 people at least table wise.

To be fair, I usually play by home rules. Whoever lives closest to the court can technically consider it their home court and should be the final say in all rules. Or we can let COF be the final say since he got this insanity together where the rest of us have failed miserably.

The rules don't really matter.

I mean, we can save a lot of time by just declaring whichever team I'm on to be the winner.

COF, you may have to put me back to willing but unsure, I just realized November 22nd is Saint Cecilia Day, the feast for Musicians. I might want to celebrate.

I must defend my home state for once...why is it that Iowa got ridiculed as an excuse but I haven't heard one peep about Missouri or Oregon?

I'll hang up and listen for my answer.
