He started every game; where's the evidence that Vrabel hated him?

He missed five games last year and three the year before that. He's played a complete season once in his four-year career.

According to Biggs, Davis "needs to feel everything is 100% right" for him to play. In other words, Davis is soft. This was an odd signing by a GM who claims he wants to increase the overall toughness of his team, especially on the lines.
probably because he missed out on other free agent targets.

He hated a guy he made a starter for his entire career? That sounds like bullshit.

He didn't even attempt to resign him and instead gave a shittier player a big contract instead. Why does this seem like bullshit? Albeit talented, Nate Davis comes off as a grade A penis.

Maybe Nate Davis chose Chicago over them. Why start a guy for years that you hate? Why would his personal feelings matter if the guy was productive on the field? I'm sure Karen Rodgers coaches didn't love him as a "man".

I think he hated him because he was a really good lineman, just too much of a pussy to play often.

On further research, it looks like he Moncada’d his way through COVID in the concussion year.

Enormous red flag. I’m out.

If he has a great season, I don't care if he ever practices. It wasn't a significant investment, but his desire to play football isn't encouraging.

That can't be true. He only has a $7M cap hit, and this is a 2 year deal if he sucks or doesn't play.

Seems we talked about this before, but he's a perfect fit for their outside zone scheme, mobile and can get to the second level.

He misses time, that was well known when they signed him and is why the Titans let him go, Poles must have liked the scheme fit and was willing to take the risk.

More concerned with Patrick starting at center as it seems Whitehair and Carter can hold down the guard positions.

Reading up on the Pack defensive line and not much depth there, especially if Gary is out, also read that Devonte Wyatt scored an 8 on his Wonderlic, supposedly anyone that scores below a 10 is considered illiterate, the NFL is certainly an interesting collection of humanity.

It amuses me quite much that the Packers spent 2! first round picks on players just because they went to Georgia and they both suck. I'm sure one of those Packer nimrods (zippy or FavreFan) will be along shortly with some obscure state from PFF trying to argue that they don't suck

this game is literally the hardest to call of the week. No one really knows how both QB's will do and both teams will likely try to run all game. It's a complete coin toss

Saints/Titans is toughest to call. GB is gonna win this week.

The best thing that could happen in this game is for Fields to either be remarkably bad or remarkably great and for Love to be remarkably average.

I’d prefer Love to be obviously below average but not so bad the Packers get a high pick.

Average means he gets a big payday. Get him the Daniel Jones deal. Then we root for him to suck.

Just for the rivalry, I'd actually be most interested in both Fields and Love being great and both teams being NFC powerhouses for the next 5+ years. Kind of like the Bengals and Chiefs or Bills and Chiefs are today.

Just for the rivalry, I hope the Bears win the next 100 games vs. the Packers.

That would just about even the series up overall right?

That's the problem. If Love sucks, Packers fans will still have a leg to stand on because the Bears never beat the Packers with a good QB. If Love is great, and the Bears beat them consistently, it cuts the legs out because all they have is their memories of Rodgers winning a single Super Bowl and Favre.

So, he practiced walking.

I'm surprised the Bears are still only a 1 point favorite after it was announced Watson was out. Vegas thinks the Bears are still shit. We shall see.
