It looks like the plan either sucks or he can't execute it because he sucks. No reason why we're heading into a second consecutive season with gaping holes on both lines. That's usually addressed by competent executives during the off-season.

No, it's more like fans expect every draft pick to be an all pro immediately.

Strawman Nas. Sad!!

It's not. The team is filled with primarily 1st and 2nd year players and journeymen, but MANY expect immediate results. The Bears are in a far better position to have success than they were when Poles was hired.

There is really is no excuse for losing 12 games in a row in today's NFL. With parity, the numbers say you should accidently run into a win or two. I never thought there was an abyss lower than Emery/Trestman but here we are. At least we had that fun first year scoring points with Trestman.

They lost last year on purpose. Of course there was a purpose. And you were good with it.

I'd argue the last 2 years of John Fox may have been worse than the Trestman experience...

Bob wanted the Bears to go out and get Amari Cooper last year so they could have won 5 games and then he would have bitched about the Bears not having the first or second pick.

He's truly the worst of the worst idiot sports fan out there.

#Truth

I would like to see some of these guys solidify themselves as at least starting level talent by the end of this season. It would be great to see Wright prove he's more than simply a starter.

With the Fox era, you at least had Fangio who was building something respectable on that side of the ball. They haven't won a game now in nearly a calendar year. And they have played plenty of bums, they couldn't have walked into a win? That screams coaching incompetence. If you look at that staff, it's full of inexperience and guys that shouldn't be in that role.

Should they upgrade the talent, this team is going to still lose games, the coaching is that bad.

Yeah, I mean this staff is wholly unqualified at this point. Poles fucked this one up, but maybe that was the plan. Bring in such a bad staff that they tank for a couple of years. Get DJ Moore and tell him to be patient. Know full well Fields isn't your guy. Get 2 top 5 picks (Carolina blows too) and take the top QB in the draft next year. Hire a competent coaching staff to start competing in 24.

Or he's a moron who should be fired, too.

Jerry Angelo was the last GM we had that wasn't afraid of facing the media.

He used to advertise himself as the kind of guy who "measures twice and cuts once" until he screwed up on the free agency paperwork for Warrick Holdman and D'Wayne Bates, making them unrestricted free agents instead of restricted free agents.

Getsy just said Fields did not express the concerns to him or Eberflus before going public.

Brett Favre played in a game the day after his father died.

He was also a drug abuser who was as obsessed with his consecutive games streak as Karen was about his interception trophies.

I imagine a mid 20's player's mother is probably your age or younger, old man.

He missed a practice, not a game. $50 says he plays on Sunday.

Nate Davis' mother was in her 50s and she was in hospice for most of training camp.

You have to try to be this much of a scumbag.
