Rumor is that they cut him and tried to sign a lineman off another teams practice squad (Leatherwood?), but it feel through, as with all things Bears the story is always murky and confusing.

The other owners love George because they know they can count on the team sucking as long as George is in charge, but even Virginia has to see the franchise has become the laughingstock of the NFL.

Gotta stick with Quinn. He just wouldn't pull the trigger to such an extreme that he makes Fields look super decisive. I think Quinn is still somewhere in Soldier Field with the ball in his hand looking down field for Justin Gage or something.
