Vegas had the Bears as underdogs at home to a winless Denver team that had 70! scored on them. Do you really think there is a team on the schedule that the Bears are favored to win?

You think they are getting better each week that passes? Hell no!

I don't think anyone is penciling the Bears in the #1 draft spot. It's just fun to think about drafting Williams. I've taken another look at the schedule. You think the Vikings, Raiders, Chargers, Saints, and Panthers are going to be easy teams to beat? Cardinals and Falcons perhaps towards the end of the season.

Raiders and Panthers are wins. Saints, Cardinals , Falcons, and Vikings will be close. Chargers is probably a big loss.

Agree. It will be a while before the Bears are favored. Maybe @Cleveland if Watson continues to suck, maybe AZ at home on Christmas Eve. Until then they will be dogs and rightly so.

At this point, I'm hoping for 0-17...but I'm sure they'll find a way to win a game or two this season

I hope they don't. If we cant be good and Fields is clearly not the guy, then let's be historically bad

I can't see this if Flus stays as HC the entire year.

Some NFL guest on the radio said that the threat of Caleb not coming out was clearly directed at Arizona, not the Bears.

As things stand now the next time Bears will be laying points would be against Carolina....maybe.
I bet Washington on the look-ahead line and have +2
Minnesota - 4.5 in Bears next game.

No not at all. I am working under the assumption that Fields is a bust and will not be the QB after this year. So with that understood they would be best to not win a game this year.

I may have heard the same thing and the explanation was that AZ failed both Rosen and Kyler.

How would that argument not apply to Mitch and Fields?

If our owner doesn't even understand that the pencil mustache is out of fashion, how do you expect him to hire a progressive offensive minded head coach.

All 5 of Fields wins have come when the opponent scored less 20 points

The situations are different from this standpoint. If a guy can come in and be great at QB in Chicago he is going to own the world. A smart agent will help him see this. That is not happening to that level in Arizona.

Lincoln Riley coached Kyler in college and they don't seem to be happy with how they've treated Kyler. The Bears have actually treated their quarterbacks remarkably well given the performance they got for it.

For life.

A good/great QB that wins a Super Bowl here would never have to pay for a meal or a drink in this town again. Never wait for a table, etc. He would always have a job available as an analyst, pre/post guy, radio host etc. With the perks and all that would be available to him it would be similar to if he were 1960s Henry Hill

Hopefully nobody in the Williams’ camp is close with Mike Glennon.

$18.5 million for 4 games would make me pretty happy if I were Mike Glennon.

I've considered it. The Falcons and the Vikings are the only teams I'm sure are in the market for a quarterback. With the Bears and Panthers likely being 0-5 after this week, I think both would have to win more than 1/3 of their remaining games to fuck up our chances of getting the top pick. Do you expect the Bears and Panthers to win 5 of their last 12 games? I'm not confident they'll win 5 games combined.

Michael Bidwill doesn't care for black people. He doesn't give a shit about his employees either. Remember the homework clause in Kyler Murray's contract? Or the former GMs DUI? They're also the only NFL team to charge players for meals.
