Josh Barfield on with Bruce Levine pretty much said Chris Getz low balled him on his first pay offers. Levine than actually said Getz is leaving a huge mess in his old job how ill prepared the Sox young players are in basic baseball skill training like Oscar Colas.

Just demote Getz or get rid of him. The last thing I want is more backstabbing and snitching going on in JR's office.

He fashioned this team and spent good money on some terrible veterans, so this season certainly has his fingerprints on it.

Weird Jerry refused to clean house last year and things got considerably worse. Will he learn his lesson? Will he go outside the organization even though that would allow outsider to see his dysfunction?

Emery/Trestman squandered actual talent and set the franchise back about a five years.

It’s hard to know how bad Getz sucks given the situation he inherited. It’s not like he had any say in developing the younger guys on the roster so I don’t want to hang their failure on him.

I think Trestman gets a bit of a bum rap compared to other awful coaches the Bears have had. He initially did what he was brought in to do. He had the Bears up to the #2 offense in the NFL in 2013 and they would've made the playoffs if not for Chris Conte. 2014 was no doubt a disaster, he had no control over that locker room. Grifol has been a disaster since minute 1. Getz just gave away three major league players on a day where a worse pitcher got 2 top 10 prospects from the Astros and another top 15 prospect.
