It’s not a bad setup. A decent year almost locks ND into the 5th seed, which would give them a home game against the 12 seed. That 12 seed could be some mid major 20th ranked school.

what happened to him? I thought he was great at Duke.

There were a lot of good and experienced QB available in the portal and ND took the guy who looks like a Bears QB

I'm really happy for NIU and Thomas Hammock. I liked him as a player but he has had inconsistent results as a coach. Maybe this puts them back into being a perennial MAC contender
