Larry Holmes has been mumbling single words to himself during conversations meant for the listeners but not meant for the discussion. He's always done the this is beneath me mumbling thing. But, in the past the words were faint. Now they're clear. Mac used to do it a lot to Hub on visits and others to show his disdain for their shtick. Larry will sneak in a mumble about the Score's uncertain future to himself but Mitch seems to have ended that. He never does it to Leila showing discipline being a good soldier sticking to the Leila on a pedestal scripted theme.

Larry has other motivations for treating Leila well.

I really don't know how some listen to this show regularly. I caught one of my occasional and brief listens. In the fifteen or so minutes Dan hinted at the racism of the NHL marketing and the overt racism of the NBA marketing. Then, when Sir was searching for a word to describe traits of the people of a nation the only two words Dan could conjure were xenophobia and stereotype. That shows you where his mind is.

As always, I appreciate that Mitch quarantine these two on the same show during a time slot of which I can almost never consume. They don't exist to me except on this board.

The 15 minute rant over NHL and Gay pride stuff was riveting radio in the tractor this lunch hour.

Larry Holmes said teams should be happier for winning MLB division titles. "They're hard to win". This has to be the product of having to say something so just blurt anything out on a show too slow paced dependent on guests for sports knowledge other than hosts reading of data.

It was an entire segment and he mentioned it (and forced it into other topics) 2 or 3 different times.

I had some work done on my car and on the ride home they were expounding about all the food that was being delivered to them this afternoon. Nothing says great sports radio like trying to describe the seafood you are going to be eating to the listener during their breaks (hopefully).

When Bernstein opened up about his mental health issues his sjw theme gradually escalated to now he's a male version of Julie's Twitter persona angry he can't come out of the closet. But, even as goofy as Julie is she talked very little sjw on her Score shows. She even knew it would alienate and drive away listeners. She mostly kept her Twitter Julie and Score Julie separate.
